The first video had so many goodies that I didn't mind. LOL Just wanted to let you know I tried the cookie sheet in the oven along with the Dutch oven baking my sourdough and it WORKED... yeppy I had no burnt bottom. Thank you so very much. My family inhaled the loaf and then we baked the other one today to have avocado toast. It was out standing. Perfection

I really like the music you play on your videos. Would love if you made a playlist of them. Then we could play it while working around our own homes.

You are spot on with the tips for quinoa. I soak & wash then toast and simmer in coconut milk& a dash of turmeric with black pepper. After I add aromatics and stir fry very similar to fried rice.

I had commented on this video when you posted it before unposting it, but I thought the hideaway tent for your daughter was so fun. I love stuff like that. Ciabatta bread is delicious, including sourdough versions. Wow. I absolutely LOVE the black shelf!!! I recently bought quinoa but haven't made it ever, so watching this has helped me. Thank you. I enjoyed the statistic about scripture and Bible reading dropping. Growing up, I was not one to read the Bible much, but I was raised in the church and a Christian school through 9th grade. I learned full chapters to memorize and to this day can quote most all of what I learned. It was once I left the Christian school that I explored the Bible and read it daily at like 16 and so forth. My own children have had to learn scripture, but not as much as I did. . .and I have yet to see them interested in wanting to read the Bible on their own, but I hope it will happen (and pray it will).

I always love reading comments from you, Victoria. I too memorized so many scriptures growing up. They have helped, especially through really busy and overwhelming seasons. I think it's so wise to pray for our children like you mentioned here. Good reminder.

Thank you, such a lovely video!😁👍 For the Bible time with kids, I'm wondering if you or anyone else has dealt with push- back from especially teens? We have raised our kids to know the Lord and love His Word, but my eldest only wants to do Bible study on her own, and if we have group Bible time she has often a big attitude. I'm concerned, but ya wondering what others did with that push- back?

Only a little, but persistence and consistency won! Don't give up group studies!

I don't, but it's so easy! I just chop it and put it in the dehydrator! It is so versatile, I love having it on hand.

@@mountainmamashome I was blessed to receive dozens of my grandmother's freezer jars from decades ago (I'm guessing mid-century). My mom said the only place to get them from was the butcher shop. I also acquired Grandma's blue canning cars with the zinc lids. I use the freezer jars to make soup for my widowed uncle, who is 85, so these are actually his mother's jars.

Are you able to buy organic produce or grass fed meat within your budget? The desire to feed our family better quality we can buy really is stressful and sometimes unaffordable
@mountainmamashome
@mountainmamashome 5 ай бұрын
Hello! No, we are not able to very often at all. We are, however trying to get to where we can raise our own. We still won't be able to afford organic feed unless the Lord changes our circumstances, but we will be able to do non gmo.
@thehomegrownhomesteadvirginia

That's where we are at now. I try not to be too hard on myself and worry about he things I cannot change like being able to afford all organic everything. We like Sunrise Farms here in Virginia over the organic option because they do additional testing for glyphosate and other herbicides.
