We begin by grinding two medium-sized onions, three green chilies, four garlic cloves, and adding 1/4 cup of water to make a fine paste. Afterward, we heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds start spluttering, we add the onion paste.
We mix this well with the cumin seeds and continue to fry it for 3 minutes before adding 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste. We fry it for an additional 2 minutes. Next, we add a tomato puree made from four tomatoes and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Afterward, add 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, and half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. This mixture is cooked for another 2 minutes.
Following that, we add 1 tablespoon of curd, 2 tablespoons of freshly ground garam masala powder, 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 cup of water. We mix everything well and let it cook on medium flame for 5 more minutes before setting the gravy aside.
In a separate pan, we heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder. After frying for 2 minutes, we add five boiled eggs and mix them well with the mixture.
