Ingredients per person
- 2 cups cooked cold rice
- 1 egg
- 1 spring onion, sliced thin
- 100g ham
- 50g frozen peas
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 dashes maggi seasoning
- 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
Method
1. Heat the oil in a wok or large frypan.
2. Add your beaten egg and scramble. Once cooked, remove from the wok and set aside.
3. Once the wok is hot again, add the ham and cook for 2 minutes and then add the spring onions.
4. Once the temperature is back in the wok, add the cooked rice and stir well.
5. Next add the peas, the cooked egg, and then the soy sauce on the outside of the wok.
6. Season with the maggi and white pepper.
7. Finish with the spring onion greens and enjoy!

Neil had been on a quest to find his elusive friend, Andy. He had heard stories of how Andy could make the most delicious Bibim Naengmyeon, and since it was Neil’s favorite dish, he was determined to find him. Neil is a courageous leader and never shies away from a challenge. He decided to take on this quest and set out to find Andy and make the dish. He searched high and low, from the bustling cities to the quiet countryside villages. Everywhere he went, Neil asked around if anyone had seen Andy or knew of his whereabouts. No one seemed to have any information about Andy, but Neil kept on searching. He was undeterred by the lack of success, and as such, will continue on, hopeful to one day receive his well deserved Bibim Naengmyeon.

As a Chinese I have to say it looks really nice. And the sauce at the sides of the rice is perfect. I am sure it would be more delicious if the fire could be better and maybe use some pork or chicken oil to fried the egg and use small green onion instead of big one. I will give 9.6/10 for this 蛋炒饭/炒米饭.🎉

First time I see someone use magi as a straight up replacement for msg powder. It's basically the same but still people demonize msg so this may be a great idea for those people..

Thats what that was? Thanks. Adding it to my pantry.

@@m.theresa1385 it's a staple in Germany for ages, it's basically the same thing just not in crystal form, extracted from a different source (I believe it's yeast rather than algea) and with some added ingredients. Same usecase but not as versitile since it does have an actual flavor, which normal msg doesn't.

I've been cooking my entire life and I'm always thoroughly impressed by your videos.... I'm not a cook or a chef... And this is almost my exact recipe for a variation of my fried rice, And like he said you build it your own.... Only thing is I would've made sure to start with sesame oil and I couldn't see it but that didn't look like sesame oil. Really brings those flavors to pop
