Just a reminder, back in episode 1, they were discussing whether Falin could be resurrected from poop. They're not trying to get to her before she dies, since people who die in the dungeon can be revived. They're trying to get to her before she's digested, because the state of the corpse matters.

Last week you said the name "Swordy" well "Kensuke" is the equivalent of that in Japanese 🤣
@LilyCat23992 ай бұрын
I know! He basically gave it the same name Laios did! Hehe

Maybe I just don't know the particulars of Japanese but I've been calling it Swordathan.

The sorbet was honestly one of the most original dishes in this show

Nice reaction as always! Found your channel because of Dungeon Meshi but I've since seen all of your HOTD videos. Thanks for the enjoyable content! 🐻🧙🏼

It is a pretty dense story, so lots of questions you might have will inevitably overlap in part with some spoilery plot points. We're still thick in the set-up phase, but I love that you have all those questions and rest assured, the show is really good at answering questions it raises ;)

So after following Laios' party we're introduced to a new party also in the dungeon, Kabru's party. Kabru's party are somewhat of opposites to Laios' party as you'll notice further on, the easiest one to notice right now is how Kabru is much more approachable. One of the main differences however is that since they're not the main characters they don't have the same luck as Laios' party, and instantly fall prey to monsters. Falin is the cleric equivalent, so banishing ghosts and dealing with undead is well within her wheelhouse

16:01 Laios does miss a lot of opportunities to shut up 🙄 It's a whole thing with him.

Details of senshi past will be explored but much later in the season, so don’t hold your breath
@tristanmilner95112 ай бұрын
No spoilers but you will get some Senshi backstory before the season is over. As well as each member of the party and the other big people in the opening.

it annoys me bc they took laios' attempt to be positive as something SO negative 😭 i don't think it's that hard to understand what he meant, because he's absolutely right, and being able take such a personally traumatic experience into something positive (if falin wasn't eaten, they would'nt have met senshi, and they would have never experienced his amazing cooking/creations, or grown closer as a party) it's something admirable and something i LOVE to encourage. especially because it's a healthy alternative to taking traumatic experiences, and then using it as an excuse to act out (not that it's a bad thing, just not necessarily HEALTHY or all that helpful to the people you're supposed to be leading). wish i could be there to be like "no laios, i get you, i see the vision." 😔✊

They made sorbet from ghosts and spirits. Hope this doesn't come back to, "haunt" them.

It isn't DnD but it's so easy to relate to it cause of DnD 😊
@edamame18792 ай бұрын
people like to compare anything to something they're more familiar with. i dont really mind as long as they dont force the dnd logic to the series logic ("in dnd it should be more like this, the explanation in this anime is wrong!" or something like that)
