The videos that I came across on youtube uses a lot of sauce and I was looking for some video without the use of that. This is just perfect!! I am so glad I hit upon your video. Thanks for sharing! I am going to try it out today!!

this channel is amazing... your personality is incredible!. (subd). I grew bok choy for first time, and it's ready. Having not eaten hardly any stir fry my whole life, and being a new gardener (started last fall), I randomly chose to buy the seeds. I have purple lady and baby bok, fully grown and harvested... I am going to stir fry first time tonight... I am using your first video, then I will try this one maybe tomorrow. THank you !!! EDIT: WELL!?? I did it. I used a little too much peanut oil for the amount of vegetables in pan... PLUS, my stove appears to get REALLY hot, so it cooked in like 45 seconds and actually burned slightly... despite my constant stirring. It tasted great (even though too much oil). I learned ALOT, and so it was a success and I try again tomorrow.! Thank you soo much!!

I truly appreciate your videos. The crunch of that bok choy sounded like Mozart. Honesty, I have been eating bok choy all week. Absolutely inspirational crunchiness. I totally agree with your simple approach in not drowning the vegetable flavor in sauce and seasonings. It's the same with tomato sauces. The best tasting tomatoe sauce is just plain tomatoes. Try it. I add cayenne pepper and garlic instead of salt occasionally. Thanks for this video. I will be in touch soon to buy seed.

I like your easy, quick recipe and will try this. I am going to plant tatsoi and chijimisai in my garden for the first time this year. I have no clue as to how to cook these or what they even taste like. Would you have any recipes for these, or would I cook them similar to bok choy? Thank you for such a simple recipe and one that the flavor of the vegetable, itself, will shine.

@nicolero81303 жыл бұрын
in Asia stir fries are cooked at high temperature. So it's better to use oils with high smoking point such as canola oil and rice bran oil. if you don't use that high temp, you can use olive oil.

Wow...great 'crunch' there! Peanut oil here in Oz comes in transparent plastic bottles - with a note on it stating: 'DO NOT STORE IN THE LIGHT'...which is crazy 'cos they put the bottles on shelves...in the light?!! I bought walnut oil instead!! [dark bottle that's why!!]. Also...bok choy gives you a good run for your money!!!! Just imagine that with a bit of stir-fry chicken...yum!
