Great Video. One place that is frequently overlooked is Ciudad Universitaria (CU). This is the location of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). The campus is beautiful. UNAM, itself, is a great reflection of Mexican history. They hold many great academic and artistic events on campus.

The first winery in America (yes, America, the whole continent) was established in 1597 in the territory which is now the State of Coahuila. There is excellent and international award-winner wines in Mexico.

Mexican wines are very good. Spaniards introduced the activity in Baja California in the 1600´s for the first time in American continent and since then there have flourished many wine brands like L.A Cetto, Domecq, etc. Mexican wines win many gold medals in wine competitions every year. Napa Valley wineries in California were stablished also by spanish and mexican immigrants too.

Great video! I would like to visit Mexico City someday. What gave you food poisoning? I went to Mexico years ago and had to be careful about not drinking water or having ice. Do you think it was related to this?
@DelightfulTravellers3 ай бұрын
So hard to say 🤔 Maybe ice, but we also thought it might have been the cilantro on Al Pastor tacos (not being washed). We read a bit on that afterwards. It's a bummer overall because it doesn't happen to us often and we went to CDMX to eat! 🤤 - Trevor

Why do you guys put USD on your video your Canadian why don't you have the Canadian price instead if the is dollar?

Please do not film people when they are eating. It’s very rude to film people without asking. It’s one thing to have people in the background but you were in a local eatery filming people stuffing food in their faces holding up the camera directly at them. I would be very upset if someone did that to me!
@DelightfulTravellers3 ай бұрын
Film people while they are eating? We didn't stick the camera right in front of anyone. It's a tiny space and the restaurant was happy that we were there to showcase the place - Trevor

Great video. Saw absolutely nothing wrong with your filming in the restaurant. Anna was eating and the gentleman in the background moved away but then came back soon after, so was obviously not bothered. You then did a quick sweep of patrons eating but at no time did you “ hold up the camera directly at them”. Think micheleg needs to lighten up.
@pablerry3 ай бұрын
@@micheleg3040 Fortunately, Mexicans are not like you, and we do not get triggered by little things like someone recording with a camera, we have nothing to hide. The biggest problem is people like you, who believe that their feelings or opinions are more important than the freedoms of the others, Mexico is a truly free country, where tolerance and empathy is part of the culture, if someone there does not want to be recorded, the person themselves would have stood up and expressed their disagreement, stop seeing Mexicans as victims, no We are, we are tolerant and compassionate.
