Most families in Sweden don't have their own sauna, but I suppose it's not uncommon, either. I think it's more common among newbuilts tbh. And maybe in the countryside.

I knew about it, but it always seemed to me that the plain wall paint would get ruined IRL, which is the reason for the tiling being included in the shower itself. I may have done it if I was using a tile feature wall in that corner and didn’t like the tile in the shower object, though.

We do have an old real sauna in our house in Sweden (or bastu as it's called in swedish) but it's used for storage since for as long as I can remember. And it's not very big. Saunas is more of a finnish thing tho I'd say, even if I think all the Nordic countries use and like them.

It is common in the northern part of Sweden (where I live) to have a sauna in your house. But it’s even more common in Finland, pretty sure they even have championships in sauna bathing there 😊 I myself have an infrared sauna in my house but that’s not very common. The standard is a kind of steam sauna where you throw water on hot rocks that sits on the “heater” (the old ones you heat like a fireplace with wood but the most common now is electric).

Actually, being a violinist myself, buying a newly made peofessional violin for 15,000$/ simoleons is a very good deal. If you want an old violin you can pay up to 10/50 times more. And I'm not even talking about the famous Stradivarius violins. So 15,000 is like a minimum for a professional violin

(Sorry about the excessive amount of comments on this video) I have a soft foam-like mat in my kitchen. It's called a "Wellness Mat" if you're interested. It's really thick and cushiony under your feet, and the surface is really easy to clean. You just put some dish soap and warm water into something and just scrub it gently with a cloth. Also, when you're done, rinse it with water to get rid of the suds and leave it outside to dry. Takes no time to clean at all, and you only really need to clean it every two weeks. Also, I have a cork flooring in my kitchen and it looks really nice and is really soft and bouncy under your feet. Would defo recommend for your kitchen reno

Hi 👋🏻 Deli. Really feeling this apartment! With so many rooms I figure it’s high end enough to have a sauna. Can confirm that a sauna in so many homes/apartments is highly a Finnish thing, from conversations about that very thing with a Finnish moderator for another chat in which I’m a regular. 👍🏻 I love the tones in the bedrooms & the yellow rug in the purple one matched up great with the smaller golden round pillow in center of the flanking ones on the bed. Not sure which bedroom is my favorite, as each seems to have its own mood. Maybe the more coastal looking one edges out the others, for me. I also love that the light colors weren’t overpowering thanks to the balancing grays. I’m probably a weird minority, but I’m actually really loving the kind of darkened hallway just as it is, even though I know others mentioned book nook stuff. It feels kind of like an epic museum corridor moment (especially with the classy, tasteful objects you used for decorations, which I somehow associate with richer apartments or homes. As if they don’t want harsh bright lights ruining their priceless artworks/artifacts. I also find it calming. Not sure why. Maybe my ancient ancestors lived in some nice caves. 😆 Any ideas for what you’ll move onto after all the apartment renos?

It's so funny to me that Kmart is a thing in Australia. They went out of business so long ago, but i think that had more to do Wal-Mart than Target. I'm loyal to Target and local coffee when possible.

17:48 I think that it is herringbone, but the type of process for that particular wood is called chevrone Mom: Have you seen my phone! (shouting down the massive hallway) Teen: No. Have you checked your pockets!? Mom: Yes 🙄!!! Teen: In your hands?! Mom: How dare you! 😠 Teen: 😈 Mom 5 minutes later: It's on the ground in the hallway along with my keys!!! Teen: 🙄🤣 (Basically a little story of the apartment, and a nice way to say you left a phone and keys in the front entryway on the ground)
