Wow, 6000ft in 6 miles is just crazy. You are a multi-engine plane, not a fighter jet. 16:35 love seeing what life is like in different countries. There sure are a lot of motorbikes. And I haven't seen a Renault car dealership in years lol.

. . .and you know we all live vicariously through you during this trip. It is impressive; it is an adventure for sure. Now, what's interesting? I went into Controller magazine online. A couple of DA62s for sale. Peek the tail numbers. That's entertaining.

I know !! ZP is for sale and the dealer already contacted me about a possible trip back to US . Maybe soon we will be watching a season 2 of ZPGCC return flight. Maybe i will pick a different route for you guys to enjoy a fresh content lol.

What is the white box on your dash (1:23) with 3 green lights attached via a blue cable, and what is its function?
@MarekMarciniak3 жыл бұрын
Its a Stratus Antenna. It is ADSB receiver ( you get the weather and the traffic info ) and a backup GPS.

Beautiful plane... but must be a nightmare dealing with air traffic control in those parts of the world.

Great series and really enjoy your flights on the Diamonds. What other aircraft would you consider if you were in the market for a DA 62/42?
@MarekMarciniak3 жыл бұрын
The Diamond twins are a league of their own, There is no other light piston twin on the market that is Jet A powered . A Beechcraft Baron or Piper Seneca can be consider a natural competition because the characteristics and performance are similar, but these planes burn 25 or more gallons of Avgas vs 16 gallons of cheaper Jet A fuel in Diamond. So if you are in the market for a light twin and plan to fly a lot in remote places where Avgas is either super expensive ( I have seen as much as 10 dollars per gallon ) or simply unavailable then Diamond is the plane you want. Thanks for watching !

The stratus cable being around the stick made me nervous
@MarekMarciniak3 жыл бұрын
yup, didn't realize at this time, but I don't think there was even a small chance it could cause a problem like. blockage or something similar.

Słaby jest angielski tych kontrolerów w Brazylii, chyba trzeba się portugalskiego nauczyć ;-)

Portugalski to piękny język. Rozumiem, że w wielu krajach wymagane jest, aby kontroler biegle posługiwał się językiem angielskim. :0)
