Very useful, thanks. I broke the baklight ribbon on the replaced keyboard because it jams when you pull it out in that little slot below, so be careful with a working one.

Wygląda na proste ale trzeba mieć dużą wprawę. Kiedyś można było zdjąć kilkakrotnie klawisz i założyć bez problemu. Teraz zrobili ultra delikatne zawiaski. Rozpada się w rękach. I wymienia się całe klawiatury.

Hello! I have the same laptop but keyboard isn't backlight. I plan to change it with a backlight one. Do you think it will works ? I'm supposing that the motherboard is the same because backlight keyboard is optional.

It'll work. The motherboard has a port for the backlight cable next to the keyboard cable

@@fatihilhan9614 Yes I found the cmos it was hiding inside. But I took it out and didn't change nothing. Nvram holds the bios password so taking out cmos battery didn't help at all.

making you take out the battery to replace the keyboard is idiotic. I had remove both to get at the ram of a 7760 and when I powered it up it no longer recognized the battery.

i just put a brand new battery on my 7550, original Dell, and it won't detect it either. did you solve it?
