To use the internal colorimeter I MUST to use this software and i have to buy that separately? No way to calibrate the internal LUT with the internal colorimeter or with an external probe "for free" out of the box?? It sounds crazy in a 1800 USD 27" display

No, you do NOT have to spend anything extra to use the internal colorimeter on the Dell screen. If you use the software supplied with the screen, Dell obviously doesn’t charge any extra to use software which they supply with the purchase. If you desire greater accuracy, then yes, you do have to pay for other, more accurate software but certainly not $1800!! There are many companies producing screen calibration and profiling software, of course, these guys aren’t the only ones making this kind of software. There’s this fabulous new invention called google, perhaps you’ve heard of it?

@@aaronperelmuter8433 pheraps thanx to google you could spot that NO software on the market can have acces to the internal LUT display. So yes you MUST pay lots of money(at least 800 USD!) for professional calibration software or use internal and not accurate boundle software..or buy a LUT box or (finally an eizo with its good CN7 software. It's not enought reading things on google... you must fitst understand what you read. Have you read of it?!

Have you noticed the text on this monitor is absolutely horrible and thin? I have tested over 6 of these units and they all have very thin and blurry text.

My Dell UP2720Q has an overly warm tone when enabling uniformity compensation, would using this software fix that problem?

Calman for Dell allows you to calibrate with or without UC on. This allows you the flexibility to get an accurate picture either way.

I am considering purchasing the UP2720Q right now. Did you manage to solve this issue? Would you recommend the monitor? I am suing now ViewSonic VP2785-4k, with uniformity on, it is super dark, usable, but quite uncomfortable.
