I'm planning on using a Dell Vostro 230 case for a gaming computer I'm building, but I don't really know too much about it, im practically going to move my motherboard to the case, how do I check the size of the motherboard and if it's going to fit? Hopefully someone can help me :)

actually it can windows 11 also... i used rufus usb tool and i installed windows 11 on my dell vostro 230 that i got for free from my old boss, i did install it on a ssd though for speed btw its the core 2 quad one with a nvidia gforce gt 430 1gb with 4 gb of ram

You download the Windows 10 media creation tool. It is free from Microsoft. Here is a link. www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 You will want to have a thumb drive ready to put Windows 10 files on. You can chose 64 bit when you create the USB. Microsoft will let you activate 64 bit Windows with the original 32 bit COA if needed. Hope this helps!

Hi! I took a look at the specs on your Vostro 200 and it is pretty slow to handle Windows 10. I do not see any specific reason Windows 10 would not load though. Did the computer originally come with WIndows 7 or WIndows Vista? If it shipped with Windows Vista Microsoft will not allow for the free upgrade to Windows 10.

Well, that's your problem! :) Microsoft will only upgrade Windows 7 and WIndows 8 to Windows 10.
