I have ALWAYS loved Emeril's banana creme pie. Sooooo delicious! When we went to Vegas for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary back in 1999, we took them to Emeril's Fish House and every single person in the family got the banana creme pie and loved it. Then my husband hit a hot streak on blackjack which covered the entire lunch bill for everyone! Those donuts looked awfully good, though!

In Pennsylvania Dutch Territory, Chicken & Waffles is stewed chicken in a thickened broth poured over fresh made waffles. We serve them with small gherkin pickles as a contrast. Not until moving across the country did we ever see fried chicken and waffles. Since discovering fried chicken and waffles, we realized that that is the norm and not our favorite way. ❤

Just back from a local stay at the Circa downtown. Went to Nevada Brew Works for lunch. Not bad but we should have had either the burger or pizza. We got apps and a beer flight. Apps just okay. Dined at Barry’s that evening. We have dined here previously and really enjoyed it. This time was a miss. Great service all around but tough filets. Oscars and Andiamo offers a much better experience IOHO. With that said, we love Circa. Just a great energy level. Your food looked great but I do think the chicken should be off the bone when paired with waffles. That Banana Cream pie……Oh my……

Shoot. Yea we definitely go with the burger and pizza at Nevada Brew Works. We have been a tad disappointed with the pretzel and the cheese curds (overfried leading to cheese oozing out) in the past. We have only been to Barry's once but did enjoy it. Stinks that the filets were tough - that is what they are best for is texture so it stinks when it's not right on.

Great video concept, hope to see this done again. Of course, Rachel should have the ala carte menu next time. 😄 I would prefer the whole chicken pieces with the waffles! That’s because I prefer dark meat chicken, and would treat the waffle as a side to the dish rather than a main component. For lunch, the price fixe menu would be my choice. That steak is very tempting, though.

Chicken and waffles PA Dutch style. Waffle is not a sweet waffle. You dice up Chicken (white and Dark), add to chicken gravy and pour it over the waffles. It's amazing
