I will be getting a brand new 2018 Limited tomorrow. The features seem really cool. They have many good deals on brand new showroom 2018 models since they are making room for 2019 but there is no difference between the years.

This XLT has the Sport Package. I have one in grey, and it looks sharp with grey on grey accents. It has the V-6, but definitely not the sport edition. Looks and drives good though.

This car is made cheap to cost 47k it's not worth it, I own a 2013 model and the pillar trim on the front windshield is not holding up the plastic is about to RIP off and ford won't recognize it as a engineering problem. Not to mention many other defects for these cars. Rather spend more money on a German car which wont go to crap in 3 to 6 years of ownership.

I have a 2013 model and I'll tell you I should of rather paid 10k more for a German Benz ML or GLE because after all the recalls and troubles not worth the 47k at the end of the day.

@@skywalker6268 was hoping they would change their build quality over 5 years time but it's the same cheap crap over again only thing that changed is the front grill. Ford is the best American vehicle had them all GM cars and can say Ford lasts better but they need to cost less for the cheap materials they put in the cars and charge the consumer an arm and leg for it. I paid over 40k for my explorer in 2012 which is ridiculous for what I got 1month after ownership had a fuel pump fail on top of car interior fails like the door handles as well as sunvisors ext.

48k, 18 combined MPG with a 6 speed transmission? I bought a 2018 F-150 super cab for 44k with a v-6 turbo charged, 10 speed transmission 24 MPG. Why can’t Ford put that engine in an Explorer?
