Indra Tan the result is worth the upgrade. With a bit of practice you can make good foam for latte art. Keep in mind that this is a entry level machine for steaming milk so a bit of patience is required. I’ll make a video with the steaming. Thanks for your comment!

My Rancilio Silvia steam wand just arrived today, so I changed straight with my DeLonghi's. It works!!! One tip I can give is you can use soap gel to ease the installation of the ball valve to the wand because it can get really tight

Do you have to slide the ball valve all the way up from the steam tip end? He doesn’t show that part in the video.

Great job having recorded this video! Thanks to you, I'm sure I'll be able to replace the initial steam wand with a better one when I buy DeLonghi ECP 33.21.

Thanks for the video - Have made this change and am getting used to the new wand. It's certainly more powerful than the plastic one, loads more pressure. ...Remember that you must IMMEDIATELY clean it after use, to save much hassle later! Is there any known way to change the boiler temperature/ increase the amount of steam? - I never seem to get long enough with the standard setup!

I did it on the ecp35.31 witch I thought was just a little bit different. BUT, this replacement is SO worth it. I get very nice microfoam. Check some videos how to steam because the fist time I got hot milk because my tip was to far in the milk.

The pressure is a lot lower on mine and sometimes nothing comes out, what should I do ?

The pressure is MUCH lower then with stock and sometimes no steam comes out. What should I do?

Start checking if the pipes are not damaged and there’s no leakage. I’d surprised if with the original steam wand you had more pressure but you can put it back just to be sure that there’s no other issue

@@romitagl - I Opened the top during use to check for leaks there’s nothing. Although, using the one hole Tip instead of three holes seemed to help a bit
