These are definitely beautiful cars. Those movies and this car made a big impression on me. I wish I loved more things as much as I do this lol. There’s probably not a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t think about back to future or DeLorean at least for a few seconds. God willing if I could ever afford it to have a second car it would be a back to the future DeLorean ( part 2 ). The video looks great. I like to editing style fast paced enough to keep me interested. So glad I found this channel. Good job.

Hi Kevin, I was recently wondering when a new video would be released on your channel - and here it is ;-) I would like to thank you for the great insights into this project and you and everyone involved have my greatest respect making it all happen. I speak from experience of wrenching on cars for years when I say that you have to be pretty crazy to do a build like this... The countless working hours and the attention and love to every detail are impressive - simply a fantastic result that you can be very proud of. This definitely deserves a lot more attention and your channel more subscribers overall. Keep up the good work and I wish you and the whole team all the best in your projects! I would like to know if you can just cruise around with the Time Machine without being stopped and having problems due to the major conversion or do you only drive it to events and meetings? I come from Germany, driving a car that has been heavy modified like this would definitely not be possible here and would certainly quickly lead to it being taken off the road and you getting into a lot of trouble. And how you do it when maintenance or repairs are due in the engine compartment (or other areas)? Do you have to dismantle half of the equipment again? Best wishes and thanks again for the great content!

Thanks for the kind words and for tuning in, it’s much appreciated! I’ve been super busy with other work as of late and have had a difficult time getting videos out, hopefully that will change soon. We have some good ideas for a few more coming up. As for driving around, to answer your question on that. Cars are very loosely regulated here in the states, nothing like Germany in terms of passing inspections to be driven. There are no safety inspections for passenger cars and trucks, only smog testing in certain areas of the country. There are some laws regarding lights such as you can’t drive around with blue lights on since it makes you look like a police officer. The only people who will enforce that stuff are the police and most of them don’t care all that much. We’ve only been stopped one time and that’s because we had the “OUTATIME” movie plate on the car instead of the actual license plate it’s registered with. The officer stopped us, made sure it was actually registered and then took a bunch of pictures of the car to show off to his co workers. We had some laughs and he let us go without even making us change the plate. So no real regulations are in place for driving around with it, we do it quite often but it’s usually out mainly for events. On the back in the car in order to get into the engine bay, I have to take the bottom part of the vents off on each side to get the whole rear deck lid with all of the props to flip up. It takes just a couple of minutes to get it open. Thanks for the well wishes, please let me know if you have more questions!

Super cool, thank you for the detailed answer and have a nice Sunday! I would be interested to know whether a Time Machine conversion like the one in the movie is still on display somewhere officially or whether you and other owners of such builds from your community have followed in their footsteps, so to speak, and are the only ones preserving this legacy. It's not just that your team saves and rebuilds stock DeLoreans. It really is something very special to make an adaptation of the original movie car a reality, and anyone who likes the movies and especially the car in them will automatically get goosebumps from your builds, too. That's really great and I'd love to see more of it. Besides that I always find it exciting when a video comes out showing an insight into your trips or meetings with all these great cars and people. Best wishes again and all the best!

The actual screen used movie car, the “A Car” is on permanent display in the Peterson Auto Museum in Los Angeles. There is also replica on permanent display at Universal Studios in Florida. Several auto museums around the country have replicas on display, some are good and some are not. Always fun to look at them

This was an amazing process to watch! Have you ever wanted to polish a DeLorean to a mirror finish instead of graining the steel?
@deloreannation7 күн бұрын
Thank you! I’ve seen the polishing process done on DeLorean and it’s wild. However, it’s not my preference as I much prefer the brushed look. With that said, if someone wanted me to polish their car, I’d probably give it a go.

Where's your "Mr Fusion" topper for the rear compartment??
@deloreannation13 күн бұрын
We decided to do a Part I replica with the nuclear reactor instead of the part II with Mr. Fusion. The reactor add a lot more detail to the rear deck. The majority of the replicas are Part II and we wanted to be in the minority. Thanks for asking!

I don't understand! What's all the bodged/phony wiring and "equipment" all about?

Some weird movie from the 80’s. We’re still trying to figure it out too 😀
