The DeLorean is a car that I've always wanted but know I'll never own. As rare as they are it's so cool to see so many together in one place.

I’ve used AMMONYC products for close to 8 years; awesome stuff! This would’ve been a fun Larry collab, but that was cool of him to ship out some products. 😎

Why is that square there on the drivers side of the hood?

That’s a gas flap door. It was on the earlier production cars and was eliminated on later cars.

Wow! And that’s just the outside. Wait till you open the Jack storage area and find the rest of the Nests. Can’t wait for the regrain. I was wondering what brought Chris Nicholson to town recently 😉
@deloreannation Жыл бұрын
The cover for the Jack storage was off for some reason so the nesting in there wasn’t as bad as we anticipated but the one in the cubby behind the driver seat is horrible. Looking forward to getting all of that out on the next video. You’re spot on with Chris 👍

At minimum, pull the seats and carpeting. I’d pull the front and rear facias to really clean the crap out that isn’t easily flushed with the spray wand. It also allows access inside the rear pontoons ( underbody)

I think you would have gotten the same result just using dawn to start. It looks a lot better but it still needs work. Lots of uneven finish. I suppose you will regrain the stainless and get it looking it’s best later on.

So the foam did nothing
@mikemcelhattan954 Жыл бұрын
Foam is great for show and does help keep the paint from being scratched. The high pressure wash does most of the work.
@MR-vj8dn5 ай бұрын
You’re wrong about the foam doing nothing or very little. It’s essential to prewash the car. Think layers, remove one at a time.
