I hope viewers don’t think that I disrespect these 2 ladies. I am not in any way a professional police officer, investigator etc. I have followed this case since the day it happened as I only lived 40 minutes away. I do believe and feel that everyone is entitled to a fair trial with professional policing occurring at all times and levels. There were times when what was happening was making Indiana look like a bunch of backwoods idiots. From the what was told about crime scene mess ups , changes in the composite photo years later, judge mistakes that border on misconduct, all this info contributed to that. I have concerns and a lot of questions. No One Wanted Justice for Abbey and Libby more than their parents, grandparents, siblings family.

Love and appreciate the raw honesty from Susan. Lauren, you are a wonderful interviewer. It's a skill many lack in the true crime reporting community. Many seem to forget they need to guide the guest into telling a story, not making sure "they" get to give their opinion to each question they asked the guest or just take over the whole show forgetting they have a guest that the audience would like to get to know. Lauren, you really do a wonderful job, and you make it look easy, and it's anything but easy! You have an awesome gift. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.!❣️ ❤ from West Virginia.

Refreshing to watch two respectable, caring and kind individuals discussing the Delphi case. Lauren, you are one of a kind and your genuine empathy and classy demeanour is appreciated. It is glaringly obvious you are using your platform for sharing truthful information and not accumulation of clicks. The emotional turmoil you went through during the trial was astounding, yet you were so committed to share the details with your followers and Dr John. When you were uncertain of how you felt about the evidence, you didn’t display the Narcissistic or Dunning Kruger Effect dialogue like other sites. You allowed your followers and Dr John to work through the details with you and created a wonderful channel for everyone to feel safe. Libby and Abby and their grieving families were never forgotten in your narrative about the trial….Thank you ! 🇨🇦❤️

After meeting with DNR Officer Dulin on February 18, it’s almost certain he told Richard that Delphi Investigators would contact him for a formal interview. That would be standard procedure. Presumably that’s when they misfiled the tip and failed to follow up. If Richard really was a concerned citizen, and merely an innocent bystander, surely he would have contacted Investigators after not hearing from them in 2017. But Richard never did that. Richard knew he was likely the man in the 2 photos released on February 15, he could have shared that with Officer Dulin on February 18. But Richard didn’t say he was on the Bridge, or tell Officer Dulin he was dressed exactly like the Bridge Guy being publicized everywhere. We finally learned in 2022 during his Interrogation that Richard actually hid the truth from his own wife and Officer Dulin in 2017: Richard admitted he was on Monon Bridge. He admitted he stood on the first platform, just minutes before the girls were abducted. He admitted he was dressed exactly like Bridge Guy. 5+ years later Richard FINALLY shared these FACTS that he chose not to disclose in 2017. Because Richard always knew he was the man captured in those pictures. He knew he wasn’t a mere potential witness, even before they announced the Bridge Guy was the suspect. It's not complicated. RICHARD IS BRIDGE GUY. Facts matter. His confessions matter. The truth matters. That's why Richard is spending the rest of his life in prison.

To me, Richard Allen telling his wife he was at the park that day but neglecting to tell her he had been on the bridge was a HUGE deal to me. She encouraged him to self-report to the police and then called him out later on it. I think he told the police, initially, what time he was there because he thought maybe someone recognized him or his car was on camera. But when it turned out they didn’t have those things, he tried to change it up.

Lauren and John are the most guilty biased i've heard on youtube. Some of the insane ramblings John said describing the mental status of a person he's not met, or read his evals is very upsetting to hear by a professional. IMO i feel John was identifying too closely with RA, plus with bold faced lies, also. John had the crazy thought RA said he went fishing, and asked where his pole was......NOT TRUE, RA said he goes to watch the fish, which he could see. As far as Lauren goes, the FIRST podcast she said RA had feminine eyes, similar to a Disney character because one witness said BG had feminine eyes. Lauren is a decent reporter, but lousy as staying unbiased. If you want unbiased, Lawyer Lee, and LYK is by far the best. Tony Brueski still does daily pods on the case. Lauren and John suck up to ppl who can further their podcast. John, i lost complete respect for. As a professional myself, him assuming*** RA had a sexual deviant mind, where there was no history or information of. He never examined him, but he may identified closely with RA blurring his mind.
@pamostman516Ай бұрын
@@pasha21k You have a right to your opinion but if you consider Lawyer Lee unbiased I doubt your judgement. There is a video put out a year ago of a woman who had worked with RA at Walmart and reported he was verbally inappropriate back then and gave off creep vibes so it would appear there may have been something off with him many years ago.

On February 15, WRTC Channel 6 posted Bridge Guy photos on Facebook: “ISP wants to speak to this man and anyone who was near Delphi trail when two teens went missing.” In that thread, Richard’s friend commented: “He went to the Police. They have released him and he is not a suspect.”… “Channel 6 you need to let everybody know they have talked to this man and released him.” But Richard didn’t meet with Officer Dulin UNTIL 3 DAYS LATER. And he apparently wasn’t even told he was a suspect. (And, why would Police even “release” him if he was only a Witness who could help them?) Of even greater significance: What this also means is his friend obviously believed the man seen in the photos of Bridge Guy actually looked like Richard Allen-enough so to prompt him to comment on this FB post. Richard Allen clearly didn’t say to his friends, “That’s me in the Bridge Guy Photos, but I’ve been released.” If Richard had told anyone in 2017 he was probably that man in the BG photos, because he had walked onto the bridge and onto the first platform, and he was wearing blue jeans and a blue Carhartt jacket with a hood and some type of head covering that day-just like Bridge Guy-someone certainly would have tipped him in to Delphi Investigators once Bridge Guy was declared the suspect on February 20. But they didn’t. Because Richard never told ANYONE he was on the Bridge in 2017. Or what he was wearing. Richard didn’t tell his wife, the Police, or his friends that he was on Monon Bridge, on a day when 2 girls were abducted from that bridge and later found brutally murdered-and just minutes after he was on the first platform while dressed exactly like Bridge Guy. Because he was hiding the truth from EVERYONE in 2017: RICHARD IS BRIDGE GUY.

Richard met with DNR Officer Dulin on February 18. 3 days earlier, Police released 2 photos of a man on Monon Bridge, they hoped this man might be able to help their investigation. If Richard was a concerned “witness” and knew he was likely the man in those photos, he would have shared that with Officer Dulin then, afterall, this “Bridge Guy” wasn’t declared a suspect until 2 days later. But in his statement, Richard only said he was “on the trail”-he DIDN’T say he was on the Bridge, and he DIDN’T tell Officer Dulin he was dressed (coincidentally) exactly like the Bridge Guy who was being publicized everywhere. Because Richard knew the man captured in those pictures wasn’t a mere potential witness, even BEFORE that man was declared the suspect. Richard knew what happened after those photos were taken-because he was there. An INNOCENT witness would never be concerned about admitting they were on the Bridge, and dressed just like the man in those photos. Only the real suspect would NEVER claim he was the man on Monon Bridge described by Police as a possible witness who might have crucial information-because only the real suspect would know that wasn’t true. EVERYONE who was on the Trail and Bridge on February 13 told Police if they were on the Bridge-EXCEPT Richard Allen. In 2017 Richard didn’t tell his wife or Officer Dulin he was on Monon Bridge, on a day when 2 girls were abducted from that bridge and later found brutally murdered-and just minutes after he was on the first platform while dressed exactly like Bridge Guy. Because Richard is Bridge Guy. The Jury listened to the evidence. Facts matter. His confessions matter. The truth matters. That's why Richard is spending the rest of his life in prison

The down the hill podcast is the reason I got interested in this case and in true crime. Two great journalists right here❤

Amazing show I appreciate both opinions. I just hope & pray that an innocent man has not been judged guilty. I hope justice has been served.

What Susan is saying is so true about jury selection! I'm a lawyer, and even I was shocked going through the process as a juror! They ask you some really invasive questions sometimes! They literally asked if you have ever had been depressed or anxious clinically in my Federal Court Voir Dire experience!!
@NaughtE82Ай бұрын
Yeah coz they knew they would see the truth about rick that he's innocent. I bet anyone with mental health was not on the jury as they would sympathise with him

It's probably because of the crime scene photos. Those would cause someone with depression to feel even worse.
@sarabara29Ай бұрын
@Dollicakes True, although it my particular case, I think it was more like the defendant has some mental health issues that influenced his choices that landed him in court. It's also interesting though!
@DollicakesАй бұрын
@@sarabara29 nah not mental health he had demonic possession because only that would make someone do what he did to those girls. I saw the pictures he is nothing but evil.

If there was ever an argument for a court procedure to be televised, this is it! Reporters should not have to stand outside for hours in the early morning darkness to cover a case.

I was up for jury duty on a murder case that included domestic violence. Our family had a member who was accused of DV. Of course, I told them, thinking I would get dismissed. Wrong! They kept me on the jury. Our jury was chosen from about 100 people. Jury selection took 2 days. I was amazed at the process. Our case had a change of venue from several counties away.
