The problem with the testimony of the "firearms expert" is she was unable to reproduce the markings found on the crimescene round by manually ejecting a new round from RA's firearm. She had to actually fire the gun in order to get a marking match or consistency. The explosive force inside the chamber was what caused the reproduced markings with the extractor/ejector. A complete round manually ejected from a weapon that was flawed in some way to produce the markings found on the crimescene round. Why weren't 20-30 other Sig 226's examined to see if these marking appear when the round is manually ejected from them? The investigation of the firearm and unspent round is an improper study.

I've served on a jury before. I also have some experience with guns. It would definitely cause some reasonable doubt for me that, although the expert could rule in Allen's gun as possibly being the one to eject Item 16, she couldn't rule out three other guns not belonging to him as possibly matching Item 16. That's too indefinite for me. Looking forward to hearing what other evidence the prosecution has. Thank you so much, Lauren, for all you're going through to get this information to us!

Coming from a manufacturer's point of view: I can't say the manufacturer or type of product, btw. Every product on an assembly line has a specific job. Each product is marked, initialed on paper, or in a computer with the time that they started the product before it goes to the next person. People are also responsible for using/ operating the machinery that tests each stage of the product. Final analysis and inspection and packaging is at the end after it has gone through every step and mainly the machine that checks the operation and passes it through. People do make marks on specific areas of the product as part of their job. If the product is sent through a final machine twice to double check for whatever operator reason, the machine will mark it again, which in my experience will make it easier to see for final inspection. From what I understand from witness analysis is that it is easier to see those markings after the combination of cycling and firing. It seems like a couple of practices with the same "ammo" were done beforehand before cycling it again for "show of force", so to speak, at crime scene. Her firing to see it better only added to the visual process. It won't change it, only enhance it. Just some thoughts. Thank you for all that you've done to help the public be more aware.🙏 Btw, the juror questions were phenomenal!

@@mm-ik2hbsadly, I agree with you. The police didn’t investigate thoroughly, there’s plenty of loose ends. Things were not diligently documented. Since it’s a circumstantial case, they can’t afford unexplained/unanswered questions. It’s plausible (even probable) that Allen is the culprit, but the prosecution doesn’t have much to dissolve reasonable doubts. Plus, there was crazy conspiracy theories of police cover-up, and ritualistic supremacists cults… I don’t believe it. But transparency would entrust the population. The secrecy around this trial makes it look like the authorities don’t trust their own methods, as if they don’t have the confidence to lay everything publicly.

You are an absolute Superstar, Lauren! Thank you for all your hard work, the very long hours, lack of sleep, transcription of the court proceedings... You deserve a medal! I look forward to your feeds every day, and I sense that Richard Allen is the perpetrator. This is purely my own opinion based on intuition. Sadly I doubt they will find him guilty because a lot of vital evidence was "lost" or not followed up... For example, the fact that Richard Allen was cleared right at the beginning and only investigate further 5 YEARS LATER!
@Sleutherine2 ай бұрын
So far, I think the most damning evidence are the words of Richard Allen himself when he self reported to Dan Dulin. We know on 2/13/17 he was on the Monon High trails AND bridge and we know his clothes matched those of Bridge Guy. If we see and hear those confessions and that Richard Allen made those confessions by his own free will, I’m sold.
@5GreenAcres2 ай бұрын
You all have Richard Allen convicted. Including the host of this channel. Are you aware that Robert Ives (former prosecutor) was given a subpoena to be a witness for the defense and he is attempting to get out of it? Are you aware that Brad Holder (Freemason cop) has a son Logan who practiced Odinism? The son Logan dated Libby. Son didn't like Libby for some odd reason about interacial stuff or something like that. Brad Holder (cop) is on FB with a hat just like bridge guy and looks just like bridge guy. It would be interesting to see what Logan the son looks like. Is he cute with curly or poofy hair???? This is is a cover up just like the Karen Reid trial. Richard Allen is the Freemason's patsy. If you want more in depth information check out JLR Investigates.

I was caught up on RA’s outfit on that day as well and the fact he was there at the same time.. what are the odds that could happen? But if you watch Ron Logan’s interview from 2/15/17 Ron Logan is wearing a carhartt style jacket and hat. The other man also shown in the video interview with Ron Logan is wearing a jacket and hat. It seems like a very typical outfit for the average man in Indiana. I do not think it’s unreasonable to question with so many different descriptions of “bridge guy” that there could have been a few different men on the trails at that time and they may have not came forward like RA. When you compare the bridge guy video to RA, yes, it’s a very possible match. But then compare to Ron Logan… I believe he could just as easily be a match. If it’s true Kegan Kline was in contact with the girls via the Anthony shots profile, what are the odds two men from this small town were perping on these girls with no connection to the other? I think it’s possible that RA was involved, however, it makes way more sense there was some kind of ring going on and these girls were targeted. It seems like so many holes are missing in this story and the girls deserve for real justice and not a cop out. I think LE really dropped the ball on this investigation and they know this is the only chance they have to prosecute because there is no solid evidence. As far as RA confessing, I would not be shocked. This man was kept in solitary confinement; in willing to bet he was badly mistreated by guards, the entire world was wishing him dead. He was probably literally going insane and trying to appease anyone. I don’t think RA confessing is any kind of evidence, but it’s in the jury’s hands 🤷♀️

@michellerussell4388 RA probably forgot that he initially chambered a bullet and tried to scare them again while they were in the ravine. I think at some point Libby attacked Richard Allen trying to help Abby because I think he took his neck gaiter and put it around Abby's mouth to control her, they slid down the hill from the bridge that's how she lost one shoe, then they would have gone to cross over to the creek and up to the ravine. Someone said Abby had a injury on her foot so it is probably when she was walking barefoot through the woods (if you've ever stepped on a stob). If Libby attacked, that may be when he stabbed Libby in the throat and then he slit Abby's throat, laid them out, and watched them die. He may have used each of their clothing to sexually gratify himself while they lay dying, like BTK. Then as he left he took them down to the creek to wash away DNA I bet he made Libby undress first, then all hell broke lose. I still think RA was going to cover their bodies, but heard people calling for the girls, and he would have fled by 3:30, dumping clothing as he walked home or to his vehicle. I think the woman saw him walking along the road, but I think he switched back into the woods and followed Bridge Creek right to his house. Then cleaned up and returned to get his vehicle. It wouldn't have taken very long at all...only a mile (or les) walk. There was no need to go by the Harvesters Warehouse because that would have been further away from his house. His house was to the left of the main road on Whiteman Drive.

Even if they don’t look identical, she could have explained why and how she drew her conclusions. It feels like a bad look and if there are any super skeptics on the jury they are not going to like that.

I’m really interested in all his confessions. I wonder when they will bring those up.

The marks from fired rounds are deeper because of the pressure the cartridge was under. You might as well examine the deeper marks rather than the lighter ones. They are the same marks.

If they truly believe that, they would have shown the jurors pictures of the identified marks from both bullets.
@tinyspyder2 ай бұрын
@MK-pt9zt I agree! Maybe they did? I'm not sure. But I would think that definitely should be a part of the entered evidence.

Your information is so in depth and well presented! I have watched quite a few other presenters and they need to watch your presentations before they attempt to give opinions…so much uninformed information is being given out as ‘fact’.

What you are using, is an ibuprofen on steroids. Anti inflammatory, and bad for the stomach if taken orally, so….stick to the cream.

I may have missed the point: any number of guns could have made these marks, but she has only tested five or ten? And she only tested ten rounds, four cycled and six fired? A larger number would be a better sample?
@garfield-yt8oi2 ай бұрын
Yeah, she only tested a few. And she couldnt even exclude them all.

I think the judge in this case is appallingly terrible. I think the crime scene investigation was botched. I also think Richard Allen is probably guilty. To me, it’s bad that after he self reported being on the trail that they didn’t investigate further.
@carrow10572 ай бұрын
Wow that is an interesting take. I am nervous about the investigation methods, namely the follow up after interviews. However, I am interested in seeing how they present his (1) confessions, (2) his psych eval (is he feigning mental illness symptoms??). In Boone's trial the psych clearly demonstrated she was not feigning, and understood the legal process; she measured off the charts as understanding. I want to see if they evaluated RA like this.

I agree. It was all botched. The judge is horrible and I don't really believe he did it tho.

@@rhondadsvidson7573 The hair in one of the girls hands and the no struggle, like if they know who it was. Also, one of the girls I think it was Abby was looking for the trail. I think it was Libby that said '' it's there down the hill. The way Libby said that B a gun sounds not right. I think she said'' that mite be a gun'' then right after that bridge Guy said ''Girls down the hill'' Idk , But I need to see and hear the voice and see the video first hand. If he killed Abby and Libby, there would be DNA some where on someone like the hair in one of the girls hands. I think this is all botched. Poor Abby and Libby with this botched trial:( they deserve better!!!
