If I understand correctly, you can't get Delta 8 THC or Delta 10 THC from consuming flower.
The extraction process causes some sort of chemical transformation to convert (delta 9 thc?) something else into Delta 8 THC and Delta 10 THC. and only recently have extractors either been capable of or started isolating delta 8 thc and delta 10 thc.

I have always been fascinated by Cannabinoids since I first discovered Cannabis 22 years ago. Flower all day everyday. My experiences with extracts have been hit or miss. It's very easy to scam consumers with extracts by cutting with crap. You pretty much have to have some knowledge of chemistry and the process for how these extracts are made to even stand a chance of not getting scammed these days. The amount of fake and low quality carts out there is staggering.

Sorry folks, but the stability of the molecule without stabilizers is highly suspect. There was a extraction device in the 70s called a isomerizer that isolated deltas and gave people a very unnatural powerful high but the stabilizer was a myriad of cannabanoids. Isolating the pure compound would have shelf lifes measured in hours.

Amazing vid guys. There's so much misinformation on specifically delta 8 right now with its recent introduction to the legal market. Don't know of any companies providing COAs for their products yet. It's awesome to know there are folks like you in the industry. I view delta 8 delta 10 etc not as replacements or substitutes for delta 9, but rather as new tools in the arsenal. I'm down for that one. That couch lock bud has to have something that can be isolated that causes that numbing couch lock and pain relief. The only issue with this stuff is consistency in potency. I've had some bunk Delta 8 from so called good brands and I've had delta 8 that knocked my socks off with 6 puffs. That one actually tasted like pot and smelled like it. Just like a thc pen. Maybe it was the terps and placebo but I know it was getting me ripped. It sucks because not all of them are that good. Skywalker OG is the one I had that legit got me feeling ripped.

But The Skywalker OG is the best one next to White Runtz and OG Kush. All the Sativa ones are weak. Hybrids and Indica ones just have more body load. It's either the terpenes or the CBN or a mix of both but theres a noticable difference in the Sativa Delta8 vs Hybrid vs Indica. I just know Skywalker OG knocked me out. I hit it 6 times and was ripped then hit it maybe another 10 times over the next 2 hours. I was blowwed. Fell asleep in my computer chair watching a movie. delta 9(d9) is just your regular dank weed, delta 8 is a more mellow sorta mix of a little bit of Cbd and Thc which will heal your body from like any pain for the amount of time your high don't worry it wont get you crazy stoned unless you have low tolerance.. but delta 8 edibles are quite nice, and delta 10 is just another version of D9 like delta 8 but just a different chemical compound like with added chemicials to it dont worry not bad ones, and last but not least ive only tried delta 10 once and it sorta acted like delta 9 i would have to try it again to give you a good answer but i reccomened trying all of them...that is if your are in to dabs and carts and stuff they have some d8 bud, but youll have to get all that from your local smoke shop or dispenncery..have fun hoped i helped in time

Being in my late 50's I'm old school, I like my hash under glass and/or good joint. I like sativa in the morning and indica at night. I have gone from having a plant here and a plant there, to (Now that it is legal in my state) adding a high tunnel this summer. I have seen some talk about D8 and some states saying they want to ban it... I just find that a little nit picky Unless, it was an additive. I have looked at several seed suppliers and have not seen any seed company saying the seed is a D(anything) So, that leads to think it is a chem additive. To each his own, I just prefer what I smoke to be additive free.

@@bigbasslake4280 I'd like to answer all your questions but I'm in a rush. So here's what I got: The different deltas (8, 9, 10, etc.) are just the names given to the different molecules. They are all thc type Cannabinoids just different varieties. There have been 150+ Cannabinoids discovered to occur/grow naturally in cannabis/pot but the vast majority of them only grow in tiniest, most miniscule amounts (usually undetectable) but since the legalization of weed and subsequent growth of the industry, people were able able to make cannabis distillate (a very pure/clean type of hash/wax concentrate made by using complex chemistry ⚗🧪⚖📊) Which had the ability of changing some Cannabinoids into other Cannabinoids thus creating strong potent wax concentrates out of these so called "newer" Cannabinoids that previously only existed in the tiniest, most miniscule amounts. So the difference now is that these companies can actually sell products with these "newer" Cannabinoids. And no there's no chemicals added. That guy was referring to how they were "originally rediscovered" by the folks doing the distillation. Now they use perfectly safe food additives to make these "newer" Cannabinoids (which most of whom were discovered and documented decades ago).

Why ruin something good these guys have knowledge etc but what's the point of this it takes all the wholesomeness out of just enjoying something that's great anyway but each to their own rolling a nice fatty with a blend of strains or your favorite strain will always satisfy by smoking/Vaping extracts or having high concentrations unnatural concentrations of THC's in extracts tolerance gets thrown out of the window & it just becomes a game of one-upmanship & getting far to wrecked to the point of destroying anything like enjoyment of getting high.

Its kind of like the binge drinking culture of Cannabis but i would say if you enjoy being totally wasted to the point of non-functionality try Heroin or Benzo's once you start getting way high doses of any drug the effects become habbit forming & some of these are not natural concentrates they even say it in the clip adding this or that chemical to get a cleaner whatever yeah that sounds legit & natural so just enjoy what you do

I bet the process of smoking Sativa converts 70% of Delta 9 to Delta 10. Also, the same for India but to Delta 8. I'm guessing the longer lasting effect of sativa highs come from the 30% left over bouncing from 8 to 9 as residuals are metabolized in the blood stream. Just my opinion.

I know this is two years old, but this is completely wrong in every sense of the term. Sativa/indica are phenotypes. They do not control how you feel. What gives you the feeling is the terpenes and cannabinoid mixture. People incorrectly use indica and sativa to indicate what type of effects the plant will have, but that is entirely incorrect. D9 breaks down into D11(among other chemicals). Delta 8 and Delta 10 are almost nonexistent in cannabis to the point that they really don't matter when you smoke.

IDK why you would want to but yes. Delta 8 gives the same high as delta 9, at least it does for me and I use delta 9 heavily daily; the only difference is that 8 wears off a tiny bit quicker than 9 did.

I have smoked the genuine article for many years. recently came across d8. I have and do mix both, and in all honesty, I get the most effect from a bowl when I mix them. but that is just me. if I smoke them individually, d9 gets me spacey if I smoke enough of it, and d8 doesn't, but it is a mellow high. my favorite is to mix CBD, CBG, CBN, and d8&d9 together. just be easy with it. it can be pretty intense if you do it like that. you will get a super body high and scatterbrained if you are not careful. I know see comments knocking the whole idea of isolating the different cannabinoids, but in my opinion, it allows for optimum customization per the individual.
