For the price of a ticket these days, you should receive a nice meal and drink, NOT snacks!. My first flying days were in 1962 when I joined the USAF and flew commercial to my duty stations, Not in first class. Passengers dressed nicely, unlike the rags they wear today, and on the longer flights we had great heated meals with real forks and spoons. NO more with all the crazies flying and lower expectations. I remember flying over the Mississippi River while having a cup of coffee enjoying the ride and how stable it was. Now I don't fly much and when I do, i feel like i am in a herd of cattle shuffling to my destination All are on edge on the plane and in the terminals. Flying is no fun anymore as compared to my early days when I actually enjoyed flying.

How do you know which seats in the main cabin have 31-inch pitch and which have 32-inch pitch? I see other seats like that on other types of planes but wonder which seats are which.
