What's up world!
After a 2 week vacation in Paradise(Hawaii) it was time to head back home. I booked the return flight on a Delta 767. I hoped I could upgrade but it was way too expensive and quickly sold out. I didn't care that much since its only a 5.5 hour flight to Los Angeles and the economy class product of this internationally configured 767 isn't that bad either.
There is IFE on every seat and wifi, so you could do both, stream on your personal device or use the ife. I prefer to watch the movies on the PTVs.
Food unfortunately is not included and you have to pay for it if you want something. I was hungry and the airport prices aren't that much of a difference. I also wanted to show you some food in my video thats why I purchased some of deltas inflight offerings. They also have different sandwiches and other items. The quality wasn't that bad but never worth 17$ ;)
The FA's on this flight did a great job, were motivated and friendly throughout the flight. They came around with drinks 2 times during the flight.
All in all a decent product, I enjoyed the flight and would choose Delta again!

Yes, i know an airport like that. In koh-samui in thailand there is no walls and the runway is 20 meters in front of the gate. But of course There is only a320,319 ans dash because it's very small. But that's incredible !

I walked those jetways when 707's,DC8 of all versions,DC10,L1011 and 747-1 and 200 pulled up. 2 holers are SOOOOOOOOOOO boring. Still a GREAT place to spot!!!

Great video, Loris. What a rip-off: $17 for food! At least on United, the most expensive item is around $10. But I bet that $10 probably would not have filled you up. At least you had a personal TV. That always makes economy much more tolerable. Great video!

in stormy weather and low visibility pilots use something called ILS (instrumental landing system) it helps a lot. Also the bigger the aircraft the higher the winds have to be to shake the aircraft

You should come back to Hawaii and fly Hawaiian! They offer free meals in economy on their long flights (international or to/from Mainland US) I know you did Hawaiian years ago but inter-island, so definitely check out a longer haul Hawaiian flight. They have an amazing fleet of A330's and provide the best service! Much Aloha to you! -Scott from Maui

Nice video Loris. PTV on DL B767-300ER wasn't bad and meal cost $17 geez expensive. Never seen KAL B747-8i in HNL. You should fly Hawaiian A330 next time. Big aircrafts such as B767 and B777 on Hawaii more comfortable than B737.

Hey Loris you've left your ABC bag full of Hawaiian Host Macadamia nuts behind in your room. First time I ever went to Honolulu with Delta Air Lines it was on a L1011 and I was about 23 years old. I did Diamond Head for sunrise...had to set off like 4am. So you had the afternoon flight from Honolulu to LAX. It would of been a boring flight if you'd took United without a PTV almost a retro 1980s flight forced to watch something crap on the bulkhead screen or them tiny TV monitors 5 rows away or just above you in an impossible angle to view. Great video Loris👍 Must be nice to be the Swiss Money Man 😃...Oh, that looked a nice posh hotel room for someone who said he was staying in a backpackers hostel 😉.

Amandeuce Poor Mark is 50 in 2 years time and in 7 years time I can start to collect my company pension after receiving a massive lump sum of cash. I was thinking about Australia for my 50th but the thought of Honolulu is drawing my 50th plans back there. I remember when I used to visit Honolulu during my 20s always walking through the Royal Hawaiian shopping mall 7am to use the international phones to phone my mother...and again at night time to walk through the shops. When I went on the sunrise walk I was with friends it was well worth it. One of my friends brought a rather large Newcastle United Football Club flag to hang off our balcony just so there was no confusion to any other Brits on where we were from...Hawaii was a bit different from Benidorm or Magaluf the other places where he'd hang the NUFC flag 😂 What great days I had at your age Loris.

Delta's the shit compared to American and United cause delta has ice on long hauls American it's hit or miss same for United Delta rocks tv's should be standard on flights 2 to 5 or 8 hrs

It's less of the company and more about the fleet change cycle. Delta had their own changed recently. American is mostly don't with it. If you're on a long haul, you should have entertainment. The new smaller 50 to 70 passenger still don't have them.
