Both ended up with wires controlling their actions, and require the party's help to be freed in the normal route, and seem very insecure due to nobody liking them. Spamton's desperate to get back the power and influence he once had, while Berdly is trying to appear the smartest to get attention. Their fights are also weirdly similar, with both taking place on roller coasters. Also, they at various points worked for Queen.

Qing's chair is such a downgrade from Queen's chair when you really think about it. Take the following instances for example: 1) The chain holding up the chair could eventually snap. 2) The chair could tilt over a bit from him moving the wrong way and dump him into the fan holding up the arena. 3) A stray recycling bin could hit the chair and knock Qing off into the fan again. 4) A single hit to the chain would easily destroy it and leave the chair dangling. 5) One technical error while dropping the chair down could result in Qing falling (Chain getting stuck, Chair falling too fast, etc.). 6) His cigar could light part of the chair on fire if he drops it, lighting him on fire in the process. TLDR: This thing is a fucking hazard.

Well, it's nice to see that Ranger's sprite looks better now, even if it's the same design, (although I still don't like it that much, especially that bandana on his mouth, it stands out badly in my opinion) I also don't like that Quig's portraits (although I must admit he has better expressions and more details) and Ranger have a small forehead, it makes them look kind of weird. Beyond my complaints, I notice an improvement in general, everything feels more dynamic and detailed, which is really good.

its a redesign. Ranger was changed to a hampster instead of a racoon to be a reference to the king hamster cage, and the bandana wont always be on his face its only up for the battle. for his forehead its shrouded in darkness.
