👍👍👍 A PLUS +++ For originality... It took me a minute or two to realize that they were going somewhere with this... Sometimes starting out with repetitive strumming like this, can be a risk, because for people that have heard so much music over the years, it's almost reflexive to sort of "predict" and "expect" mediocrity.... I'm picky, and a harsh music critic. It takes a lot for me to give a thumbs up... This I like!! I like it, I like it, I like it!!! 👍👍👍

where did you guys learn your scales, seriously?
@Foolian13328 жыл бұрын
Ya probably don't need a response to this comment, but just in case; I want you to know they are generally just in regular major and minor keys, with infrequent (if any) modal interchange. The reason it's so unique is because they don't use the expected chord progressions and voicings, and their meter is not stuck in the conventional constant 4/4 scheme. Great songwriters can, and do, make the most unique music with just normal scales!
@aluhaable8 жыл бұрын
+Ash wooow i knew that meter work but thanks, i thought that they use maj9 or some wired chords haha thanks
@tuliosouzaa8 жыл бұрын
a good example is tim maia, king of brazilian soul music. 3 chords, he was the man
@bazdesh8 жыл бұрын
yeah, play a lot of huge chords that still fit into your "regular" scale /you know, basic maj7-maj9, maj7#11, min7,min9,min11, you need to learn the fine voicings tho/ and sometimes throw a chord a half step up and down for weirdness, find some interesting nondiatonic progressions and youve got the basics
