Just bought the 8 amp deltran battery charger for my 72 cutlass 442 tribute, 66 cadillac coupe deville, and 1954 chevy belair. It also switches to a 2 amp. When i go away for months at a time should i switch it to the 2 amp and have it float or keep it on 8? Thanks

Curious why you would have the battery terminals facing toward the fender AND have the Positive terminal closest to the radiator support. Kind of bass-ackwards.

that LS going in the cutlass,or keeping it Olds?

I will be sticking with the Olds Rocket, I have done way too much work on it to abandon it now lol. I have other plans for my LS I am building. I will post videos one day on it. Keeps getting pushed on my priorities.

I use the 1.25 amp one...the slower charge is better for the battery!

Nothing wrong with that! Thanks for watching!

Anything 6 amps and below is considered a slow charge, 1.25 is good for smaller battery applications only. Medium and larger batteries require more amperage.
