Awesome, Ron! Deluge would be my desert island synth/groovebox if I had to choose. No competition! To think - you could use the Deluge live record/sample feature to capture all the glitchy madness to SD card, then load it back as a sliced sample in a drum rack, or as a tuned instrument and process even further... So many possibilities!

And now let's resample this and replace this basic synth note with this sample 🤪 Thank you so much for these videos about community features, this helps so much to understand them one by one, clearly.

@@RonCavagnaro I am sure it is totally different while possibly equally awesome. I was just surprised by the sound range you got from the deluge. Regarding synth sounds I mostly use the deluge for midi sketches I run through my peak and tweak there. So (ab)using the effects section from the deluge is not something I am used to or expected to sound this crazy.

It's very cool and tons of fun. The fact that all this can be done over midi as well is even cooler.

This feature is amazing. So much easier to build all kinds of risers! Do all automation parameters support the variable grid? Some parameters seem to react as either all or nothing (all rows lighted at the same time level).
@RonCavagnaro
@RonCavagnaro Жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean? What parameters are all or nothing ? I will see after your answer. Thanks!
@seangoodvibes
@seangoodvibes Жыл бұрын
All params support the variable grid (being able to do long presses, risers, etc). He was just showing that in automation view you can increase or decrease a parameters value without automation and it just shows the entire grid rise and fall. When a parameter has been automated that doesn’t happen.

Great video. The community firmware updates are really impressive but man….not sure how I’m going to remember all the new key combos. This was a great showcase of the new automation. This would probably do great for rhythmic vocal gating too.

So good, thanks! Question for you: i tried to follow along and make the pad selection mode work, but it's not doing it for me like it does on your vid. Can you tell me exactly what presses you're doing? I have the old non-oled display, I'm running community forward 1.1.1, if that makes any difference.
