My latest KAMP Drawers creation, these are the CRUNK Drawers:

Kitchen
Propane Stove, Grill, Griddle, Cutting Board, 5.5 feet of counter space, Silverware Drawer, and enough storage for all the kitchen essentials. All in a compact and convenient 60" x 24" x 16" box that can be installed in a travel trailer's exterior storage compartment, van, RV, overland truck, etc.

I’m impressed !!! I have a wrangler in which I removed the back seat and top to rear cargo storage. I built a deck with 6 compartments to cover the entire back so I have 4 deep wells and 2 About 20”. I have hinged hatches like the deck of a bass boat. I have the entire back for air mattress that I can stretch out with 6’3 length! But ! I still need a sink, fridge, trash and cook top! I will keep this unit in mind if I don’t switch to a camper van. Those guys are backed up!!! I can’t fathom what you could do with that!

you should add embed a level to the fully extended portion and a tuck away adjustable support at the end to level the drawer and put less strain on the hardware.

Cool setup, but I think I would want the "pantry" portion at the tailgate end so I wouldn't have to slide it all the way out at the market, or street market, etc to load it up. But that's just me. Like I said, cool design. Looks pretty sturdy too.

Hey Sam, curious for your thoughts on this - I LOVE the paddle latches you use for drawer handles, but my sliders come with a locking mechanism on one side, so the second latch on the handle would be redundant. If you had slides that lock, would you still go with the paddle latches you think, or would you go for a more standard drawer handle since the additional latch is unneeded?

If I had latching slides, the paddle latches would be redundant. But for my application, 6ft slides do not exist on the planet, so I had to use the paddle latches. It also makes for a good low profile aesthetic and a somewhat decent drawer pull, so win win anyways.

Hey again Sam! I'm building a similar 60" pullout drawer, except I'm using heavy duty slides. Question - would you suggest leaving a little bit (0.25" or so?) of clearance (empty space) below and/or above the pullout drawer? Or is it cool if the drawer fits in snug with the wood above and below it? Thanks!

You should definitely design some clearancs in. 1/4" would be more than enough, and I've experimented going down to 3/32", but that's a bit too close.

how do u feel about the sturdyness of the sliders ? im gonna build a big chunky kitchen to draw out and i will use much more sturdy ones probably as im scared they would brake if someone leans on it at the most outer part or falls into my kitchen cause they trip

Amazing craftsmanship. I’ve already built my 1st truck kitchen, whoop. I was on a serious budget . I Bought a $100 Coleman grill , 200 sliders, and other affordable options. Maybe $1000 total including fridge. How much is this unit delivered as shown?

Just checked website, so East-coast shipping is 550 , so it looks like 3550? Does that include grill? Does it fit a shortbed truck?

In the case of the original KAMP Drawers, it does not come with a stove. This deluxe version with grill is not for sale, and I'd have to seriously evaluate the cost of production to give any sort of price. Preorders are actually closed for the time being (I filmed this before my last sale). I'll be restructuring the business after I get these first units out, so there's a lot up in the air now, sorry!

The customer preferred the drawer slides, and paid for them. They were also waaaay faster to install, and I was very much against the clock. Most importantly, they are full extension, so there isn't any part of the drawers left in the box that can't be used.
