This is the proper way to make a youtube video. Notice how he didn't talk into the camera for the first 5 minutes and then stop to talk every 2 minutes after that. I learned more from just watching him work than some dude trying to expound on his vast knowledge and cleverness. Well done sir!

U think I can do this with a drill and skill saw ?
@AmbitionStrikes3 жыл бұрын
Generally it takes a lot of tools to be able to do an entire projects yourself! 😉
@mastermetalshredder3 жыл бұрын
@@billywill903 Not the way Sam did it, but a more basic version could be done in far less of a shop than his. You will find that buying tools is still cheaper than paying someone to do it and you'll pick up a new hobby while you're at it!
@HuntsT3 жыл бұрын
@@mastermetalshredder guess it all depends how much your time is worth and if you will get the value out of the tools in the long run. Some things are better to buy, some aren't. You just have to be honest with yourself, building it yourself isn't always cheaper and doesn't always turn out better. You just have to consider all variables.

@@HuntsT I hear that about the time, it is definitely hard to make time when you work too much like so many of us do

Thanks for your interest! I don't plan on building anything custom to fit any vehicle other than the 2nd/3rd gen Toyota Tacoma with the 6' long bed, and possibly the 5' short bed later. However, it is truly just a box, so if it fits within your wheel wells and length of the bed, it still might work for your truck. The finished dimensions are: 73" x 42" x 9.75" I may expand to other vehicles on later batches, but that would definitely be in the far future. If you're still interested, send me an email at sachou@gmail.com to stay updated to any new developments!
