These two were CLOSE too. “His mother's sentence was commuted by President Barack Obama in 2015, and Smith saw her son play football in person for the first time in the Broncos' playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in January 2016. Manning, who kneeled down on the game's final play, gave Thomas the football from that play to give to Thomas' mother.”

I had the pleasure of watching Demaryius first hand every Saturday at his Georgia Tech games. Even though we were a triple option run-based team, Demaryius was our ace for deep throws. You could bet your money he’d catch it every time. Demaryius went on to have such a classy & memorable career in the NFL. Won a Super Bowl & was a part of Peyton’s 55 touchdown season. Thank you for the great years of football!
