I’m surprised that none of the first 261 viewers made any comments! I appreciate you posting this video. What is Jason’s last name? I couldn’t quite distinguish it. Anyway, this was an excellent, clear presentation of necessary information. I will be applying information provided to my situation: My dad was placed on Aricept a couple years ago (I believe) when his vocabulary seemed to be less extensive and possibly the beginning of searching for words and the appearance of cognitive decline as his hearing worsened... and his blood pressure increased. Watching his hand tremors in his NEUROLOGICAL doctor’s office, I mentioned my observations (which seemed to be ignored). I made an appointment after watching this video, with a different neurologist, for a complete (3-4 hour) work up, that I had told his previous neurologist his PCP requested - when I had scheduled the previous two appointments. I plan to observe my dad in kitchen multitasking to evaluate his executive functioning... a practical test for a former Coast Guard cook! If I’m correct, that will indicate to me if he has significant decline or not, even though it’s been many years since he did anything more than simple meal prep. He’s never handled finances well, so that’s a less accurate test.
