thank you so much for the reaction! it is about her actual father.. he was abusive and had a lot of mental illnesses such as addiction, bipolar and schizophrenia. she was actually not in contact with him too much before he died she even released a song about him "shouldn't come back" a few months before he died if you wanna check that out :/ she also wrote "for the love of a daughter" about him when she was around 15

Btw this is about her actual father that have passed away a couple of years ago. He was a very problematic man, he had bipolar disorder and alchool/drugs addiction. He made such a huge impact on her personality and "inside wars"(she's bipolar and had alcohol/drugs addiction too). Also he left her family (i guess that was when Demi was a kid). That's very sad. But still she wanted him to be good.
