I use to think the same thing and then I started noticing conversations with celebrities where people would full on hate on them like it's personal like they actually know them when they just didn't like there songs like ok that doesn't mean you hate them and they would continue saying they hate them as people with no valid reason but to avoid saying it's just jealousy. You would be surprised by how many people will go on a full on rant about somebody like they were friends and the celebrity slept with there bf. And then also the people who just leave a short comment about how she's ugly and fat or can't sing ect.. those are not "haters" "Haters" are the ones who leave extreme mean comments like calling her fat when behind the key board they are 40 pounds heavier.
