Much respect to you for overcoming depression and anxiety. It's something Ive struggled with for a very long time. And, yeah. I guess I don't really want to talk about it. but you're stronger than I am! Also, I was very interested in watching this video because of the headline. Why you haven't ever been in a relationship. And I really love what you said about you want to be able to give 100%. As it should be. When I've been in relationships I feel like I've always given at least 100% if not more. I know it's not possible. But what I'm trying to say is I'm very much a giving person, and I kinda would lose myself in a relationship. That's probably why I ended up so depressed. I think I've run into a lot of guys who say they want a relationship. But then we get involved and I'm giving a hundred percent and they're giving 20%. Which isn't really fair! Especially when you're with someone who's in it completely. So I think that's great that you want to give 100%. Good for you. You seem like a wonderful person. 💕💕💕

Hey Demi, i just stumbled upon your channel today and i've been binge-watching your videos all day long, i feel like i really really connect with you! We're almost the same age (I'm 19, turning 20 in December) and i really didn't think you were until you mentioned it, because there's something so wise about you that I can't put into words. I just felt the need to tell you that just from the few videos I've watched so far, I can tell that you have a beautiful heart, I love the way you look at the world and how ambitious you are and what you said about your goals really inspired me. Also, idk why people act like you never having had a boyfriend is such a big deal, you're only 20 and it's completely normal for girls our age, there are bigger and more important things in life than dating and especially if you're this young, you might just not have found someone you connect with enough to have a relationship with yet. I really should listen to the whole video before I comment, but I was anorectic and bulimic for about 20 years. I am glad you found a way out sooner than I did. Today I feel mostly free, and am at peace with my body and how I care for it. You are adorable. Amazing how you handled anorexia. Not many could have done that. We find in the world what we find within ourselves. Find love within yourself and you find yourself in a loving world. Find peace within yourself and you find yourself in a peaceful world. It seems to me you're looking in the right place. Don't let your goals become bigger than you are. One thing I've learned in all these years (I'm old and worn out) is that when you really love someone, you NEED for them to love themselves. You find yourself doing anything you possibly can to help that love grow, the love they have for themselves. Not ego. Miracle! When you find the goodness within yourself, you have found God. Be in awe! When you do that, God is all around you. There is nothing more wonderful than someone you love finding God within themselves. We are holy beings, precious, of infinite value. You’re younger than I thought - not because you look old, not at all - I think it’s the sophisticated presentation. Anyway, I’m a stranger on the internet maybe older than your dad, so take all of this for what it’s worth. i have no investment in being attended to, here, just thought to share: Another absurdly beautiful young lady that is a dear friend of mine has struggled with an eating disorder, longer than you have. She recommended to me a book, “Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia” by Marya Hornbacher. I mention it. I have not had an eating disorder, and still was profoundly moved. I also got a surprising degree of insight into someone I thought I already knew very well. So a recommendation. I’m super impressed with your recovery and emphasis on health, now. All of this is new to me; I have watched most of your men’s fragrance videos, but not much more. More: “Better Never to Have Been” by David Benatar; only I’d recommend you just find some of Mr. Benatar’s radio interviews which are on youtube. This is someone who makes the case that having kids might be the wrong thing to do. I’m not necessarily interested in persuading you of this point of view, but you sound like you’re not sure at all, and the argument should be made - often it is stifled, too shocking, too outre. But the case can be made that imposing a life on someone who didn’t get to fill out an application for it might not be the most loving thing. (Of course if your spiritual beliefs include reincarnation or the pre-existence of conscious souls, maybe you think they DO choose to come through, in which case… I have nothing to say!) Relationships? I don’t know… I think you’re smart not to be in a hurry. You won’t have to “settle”; you’re after what you want, and even though you might not think much of the “marketplace” of choosing partners, you’re in a very advantageous position anyway. I think two halves don’t make a whole, two wholes make a whole, and you’re working on your own wholeness. Kudos. (I also don’t really believe in “soul mates”, since I am certain love is, ultimately, an act of the will - once the endorphins burn off, once the projections get reeled in… and so SOME people really need practice relationships’ to learn all that. I hope you get whatever it is you need to learn in the way you most want, though!) “Eating 4 years” to depression - I know what this means, in that I have had very long bouts of clinical depression and time does seem to disappear. Life shrinks to a small point in that state of mind. But…. I promise it’s not wasted. Even if you don’t know yet exactly what you learned, this will be integrated into something important. And 4 years is a large percentage, maybe, of your ilife, given how young you are, and were when you were suffering the depression, but really… 4 years is a blink. (Old dude’s perspective). I would be interested in your fragrances when you get around to starting your own line. You are distractingly, unfairly beautiful. I hope it’s not creepy to say so - I don’t mean it that way at all; after all, again, I might be older than your father. Certainly I’m closer to his age than yours. But some people…. some people spend years trying to figure out how to write poetry, how scansion works; or some people spend decades learning to play the cello, learning to interpret something that strikes them as ideal, as beautiful. And then some people just have to show up, and there it is. It’s a gift. You’re one of those. Thank you.

Dont just focus on one thing in life. Education is always the best backup if for example your artistic career fails.
