So how are you liking the new scales? I'm considering the micarta version. Is the knife more comfortable with the countoured section at the top, or is that more of a decorative gimmick?

I only watched to see how thick they made the Demko, overall. Didn't show. And I can't find another vid show these specific scales... Bummer...
