40 years of deregulation, neo-liberal economic policies, and selective enforcement of regulations lead to all of this.

Those are products of capitalism, which is a few centuries older.

@@fun_ghoul Capitalism always leads to the creation of monopolies, this is why they came out with the Sherman Antitrust Adlct of 1890. Capitalism has to be regulated or you have economic bubbles, mergers, buyouts, and the creation of monopolies. People need to form worker cooperatives, credit unions, labor unions, and small businesses to combat these large corporations that corrupt politics. We need to support our communities instead of giving our money to these greedy corporations.

I live in a truck. Walmart no longer lets you sleep in their lots. They have signs and security to assure this.

Hang onto that truck and your licence and insurance (if you have those...no hate) as hard as you can, comrade. Also, if I may just remind you in case the capitalist drumbeat makes you forget sometimes, *this isn't your fault AND YOU DESERVE BETTER!* Solidarity from the loveseat in my mom's tiny apartment. ✊

This country is upside down ! A guy from Ukraine came here and got Billions of $ from his inner circle( Oligarchs ) but here we got big necessities( jobs, health care, transportation ,education , housing etc.) But what we got Nothing( even though 89 % agree for that issues) we are a Corporate Totalitarism or New Feudalism!

@Josh El yeah but Politicians never gonna give public health care( is so profitable for Corporations and for their persoanl stocks] and work I think gotta be more socialize ( meaning private orwners got a % of company and workers a % too because they produce stuff to be profitable , that way it doesn't generate unabalance in wealth> meaning new labor laws to allow workers aparticipate the distribution of $ genete for the Company and also participation in the Board to take desicion. That will be game changer, but Oligarchs will never allow that and their Puppets Politicians never either.

No, what we need is for the workers to control the means of production first, then we will humane working conditions and pay. Must Reading: Das Kapital. It is still relevant today.

@Josh El Are you huffing paint? So-called universal health care is being chipped away in every country that has it now that socialism has been defanged, and there's literally not one thing on the horizon set to change that. You can't reform wolves to eat salad, knucklehead. Nothing is inevitable. If you won't fight, you're gonna be put in the meat grinder. Period.

Interestingly, when the founding fathers threw the tea in the sea, they weren't protesting taxation, but the corrupt corporate monopoly of the east india trading company that was granted exclusive control of tea trade and taxes associated with it. We've changed the story to be more corporate friendly, but it wasn't just about taxes.

Thank you for acknowledging this fact. For the first time in 300 years since my ancestors arrived, some of my children are now contemplating leaving the US. Utilities and food costs are soaring, actual dollar-for-dollar salaries under 100k haven’t risen since 2008.

A citizen is suppose to respect the law, be socially responsible, and be a good citizens. The Supreme court gave the rights of the citizens to corporations, but they do not need to respect the law, and you cannot say they are responsible, paying non-livable wages and no benefits, and be good citizens, when they demand property tax rebates so they do not pay for local services. This bs about fiduciary responsibility to stockholders allows corporations to have the same rights and me and not be socially responsible. Where in the constitution does it say anyone, anything, has more rights than a citizens?

Not protected from the ravages of multinational corporations means we need an alternative idea of property to the society as a whole as a message to drown out the corporate idea of property as a relation of ownership. US soil should belong to US citizens and the U. S. Citizen belongs to the land through citizenship.

The railroad workers ended up getting railroaded the what do you do about that they were forced to go back to work. There was an option for the president to go to the companies on the workers behalf what was that ever a real option? The Canadian truckers flat one of the most successful for a long time fights that my generation has seen any in the end did they get anything because the government stepped in he didn’t have an easy time but in the end the government won.😡😡😡

If you scatter your military every which way you won't ever really be operating at full strength in any given theater of war. I suppose that's the price of occupying...... everywhere.

Whose military? Only the plutocrats, the obscenely wealthy, have any say, so they're not MY military - or yours, unless you're a millionaire. This is NOT a democracy.
