Greenwald originally started out as a constitutional lawyer and book author. Just saying. There's a video here on youtube where he talks about civil liberties, I recommend it. Definitely, the world is readjusting. I have thought of that as well. I do not give Fox News as much credit as Ivan, but the other, so called, 'responsible' outlets have been carrying water and spilling it in a desperate attempt to prop up some sort of plausible legacy for HRC. Blaming anyone but her and the DNC takes the heat off of those news outlets for their own pro Hillary collusion.

Donald Trump using Twitter is not going to start WW3 and it proves to me he knows what he's doing every time I hear someone whine that Trump should stop talking to us directly. You can thank the media for making people only trust Trump.
@meredumais49347 жыл бұрын
Greenwald is spot on as usual. How I wish Trump would actually listen to his wisdom on this incredibly disturbing trend in contemporary "journalism." But since he (correctly) labels Trump a demagogue whose only meaningful guides are himself and his tight inner circle of yes-men (so far, anyway), I fear he'll dismissively lump him in with the rest of the "crooked media" and simply ignore his invaluable advice, the importance of which cannot be overstated. I hope Glenn stays in Brazil - not just to maximize his personal safety, but so he can continue freely publishing vital information based on objective facts (as opposed to deeply biased political alliances)as well...

To put it perfectly Sam up top summed up the interview perfectly,, can't believe people are legit giving hannity a pass because he is apart of the MSM, one of the biggest peddlers of fake news. To quote sam We have to acknowledge that the information in Wikileaks is of the highest quality; that shouldn't be in question. When we talk about Assange as a person and why he fails to be critical of Putin or Trump, it compromises the credibility of what he says in interviews, but not the content of the information that is released on Wikileaks. To reiterate: Wikileaks is a great source of journalistic integrity -- it only releases untouched documents, pure sources of information -- but Assange himself is disingenuous in interviews when he acts as an apologist for Putin's authoritarian state and Trump's incoming administration.

McCarthyite? Cowards? Greenwald takes things too far sometimes. The group from the Wapo article would have been more credible if they had given their names and expertise. But then they could have become targets. I read the "huge" editor's note on the top of the article. It's not as bad as Greenwald makes it to be, it's not like it's a retraction or something. They are saying that some of the sites objected to being included on the list. Well it's not going to be a perfect list. Of course some are objecting. They would even if they were Russian propaganda. But to deny that there is a large operation with the fake news is plain denial of reality. There are many other articles about fake news than just this Wa Po article.

Don Rumata That is total conspiracy theory on par with saying Bush did 9/11 though
@burn4353537 жыл бұрын
Alexander Platypus Well a lot of people say that Bush did 911 and yet none of them have turned up dead. They caught FSB agents planting bombs in buildings - thats a fact, the two top investigators of the case, the reporters who published articles about the case, political opponents who've called for investigations of the case have all been assassinated - thats a fact. Osama bin Laden took credit for 911, everyone implicated in the bombings by the government has denied having anything to do with it - also a fact. That seems a lot lees like a conspiracy theory and a lot more like reality.
