When Jidion is talking in the beginning about how politicians are cordial towards each other when the media isn't around it is precisely because they already know how much and where they disagree. I work with a guy for a couple years and the odds are that I probably know most of his political positions and he knows mine and we both know we aren't going to change each other's minds. This doesn't mean we can't do our jobs and get along (unless there are WILD disagreements) it just means that we are going to not talk about those issues and go about our business. When the cameras are on politicians have to show (the audience) that there exists a disagreement because they want whoever is watching to know what both of their positions are, and just like in any business there is an aspect of competitiveness to it.

@undergrounddojokeyboardcag701 Жыл бұрын
@@MrGgabber No there is not a stronger populous movement on the right. There's not one among democrats either, not "the left", don't call democrats "left" they are not remotely close to being left. Anyway, the "populous movement on the right" is just a variation of right wing libertarianism, which is used to gain support for business rights, not personal, business and in America that just means granting corporations more wealth and power. At best you can call it a pseudo or neo "populous movement" and we know this because we've seen what they've done with their power over the last decade. We saw how all those jobs Trump created.... were not really created and those that were, lasted like 9 months before the companies were able to ship 90% of their labor to Mexico. Bernie you can call left, he's an independant who attempted to run as a democrat and probably won. I will say probably won, because Hillary and the dnc rigged it to ensure Hillary would be their nominee, that is actually also why Biden didnt run even though he probably would have won.. I also have to point out that since 2014 democrats and republicans have voted in favor of bipartisan legislation 97.4% of the time and 100% of the time, the legislation is of right wing ideology.. Functionally we have a single party system.
@undergrounddojokeyboardcag701 Жыл бұрын
@Xavier E I disagree. The more you learn, the more attention to pay to legislation being passed and who is voting in favor of it or against it, the more you realize its all the same. If that is not enough, then as you dive into data and studies on our political parties and what's going on, you then find out that they vote 97.4% the same. Now im sorry, but 98% similarity is not highlighting different parties that i need to learn the nuances of in order to see that they are not the same.. no, functionally, they're the same ideology, functionally they're nearly the same party they just have a slight variation. There's a bigger ideological and voting gap/difference between republicans now and republicans in the 90s than democrats now and republicans now. As a side note i can never vote far right wing, which is why i cant vote republican or democrat.

It's a term that describes when the wrestlers are on the mic and portraying their charachter, they will say the meanest nastiest things about each other then go to the bar after and laugh about it. This what I see with politics. They only hate eachother to satisfy their bases, who think it's real. Why do I say its not real? Well..... Theres a long list of reasons, I can give a few that I was alive to witness and remember. There is a pretty clear and obvious agenda when it comes to US foreign policy, and that policy is "US comes out with the most at the end", no matter which party holds office sketchy shit goes down with our military in foreign countries. The CIA is constantly trying to destabilize regions so we can insert our influence there. This is our M.O. since the 1940's when we assumed the roll of "world police". Yet, no matter who gets the reigns of power this never changes. It's in perpetual motion. Another thing was witnessing the government and media walking in locked step together on the Iraq War, a war we know was declared on BS premises. They had no WMD, and none were ever found. Dick Cheaney, the VP for Bush owned Haliburton. The company that goes in after a war and helps rebuild the infrastructure. This man committed war crimes, and abused his power as VP to get the wars he wanted.... Never investigated, never prosecuted. Thats when I started to see, no matter how much they talked shit about Cheaney, he was going to get away with it. It was all lip service. Kayfab at its finest. Now a days they bring Cheaney out to talk bad about Trump lol and people cheer for him saying the thing they like. Just like wrestling, he went from heel to face just by changing his tone a little.

Douglas MacArthur was kicking a lot of ass in Korea and wanted to continue through to China. He thought he could start the war to end communism. It was under Truman not Eisenhower and I don’t know if he wanted nukes to be involved.

Weren’t we kinda gettin out asses kicked because MacArthur had his head up his own ass? That’s why we got pushed back to the whatever parallel and had to fight the whole time while retreating

It seems like they both represent the interests of voters. Look at polling data. Very few Americans want to shake things up the way populists describe
@joeljamie9266 Жыл бұрын
@@stevewilkens5134nonsense. Take the civil rights movement and polling data from the sixties. A majority of people didn't support the movement but it didn't matter. They were integrated at the point of a rifle. Culture flows downstream of law.
@stevewilkens5134 Жыл бұрын
@@joeljamie9266 I agree the civil rights movement is a good example of going against the will of the ppl to move culture along. I just doubt that there is much in America today that can be forced on us that would dramatically benefit culture for the greater good and still be tolerated. Trans rights is the best example in my mind and we can see that being demonstrated in the overwhelmingly pro-trans democratic messaging (and complete opposite from Republicans).

Jesus, Destiny is a patient person... This kid just throws shit up, Destiny knocks it down and then he pretends like his assertion still stands or just changes the subject. Lord, how tedious. Again, I'm just a Boomer trying to understand watching a guy play video games and dance intellectual circles around (frankly) rather dim young people. OTOH, if you can reach even one person...

I don't know why, but it really, really bugs me when people talk about their complaints with politics but they actually have no clue how the process actually works.
