For the people who are wondering: This was in China. Chinese people can't invest outside their country except elite Chinese people. So they always invest into those real estate. That's why making building in China is highly profitable. So large corporations exploited that. Corporations made thousands of building over night without caring about elements to use for buildings. So those buildings have very poor materials. In the excuse of poor materials Corporations demolished all of those buildings. So basically Corporations take a lot of money in the name of making strong buildings but made cheap weak buildings then demolished all of them and get away with the extra remaining money. 💰 💰

It’s quite fascinating to watch this but it also reminds me of just how much of our everyday resources are simply wasted!!! These buildings are likely compromised and unsafe to inhabit. Letting people live inside is a great example of negligence, especially if the buildings are not up to code. Even if the construction company goes bankrupt, an unfinished building that is up to code slowly rotting away with people living inside as shelter is a disaster waiting to happen. I could be wrong, but leaving unfinished buildings up that could collapse from harsh weather or other factors and letting people possibly die is worse than controlled demoliton.

My understanding is that those buildings sat there for 8 years because the builder ran out of money. When someone wanted to finish the buildings, they were all flooded with water destroying the foundations and they were deemed unsafe!
