When they raped the boars in the wind and sang a song to a broken child with a crippled soul. Then the boxer burst in and with all his might hit the broken child and the child flew away. The moral is this. If you are broken, then break someone stronger than you are broken. Do not stop and continue to break and ruin the life of others. Cripple the souls of young children to their own joy. Make fun of the grief of others and sing the ditties on the graves of the departed. At the end of the journey before going to bed, smile and hit the old concierge in the face with a heavy object. Leaving slam the door harder. Get drunk. Play the piano and cut off your face in the salad. Chant the efforts of mutilated souls on the way to healing with malicious insults towards dead children.

It's funny how hi-points are more reliable than high end expensive guns like SIG and Kahr. Hell try obstructing the barrell in any generation Glock and the thing breaks and flys apart. Yet a hi-point will manage to fire and cycle the next round. The Army is right. anything in your barrel is an obstruction, its effects aren't guaranteed. What"s important though is the Army is more concerned with your rifle or machine gun.Those arms have bolts that lock in battery and they produce more energy so catastrophic failure is a real possibility All of the energy has to go out the barrel and its recoil gas system. If it cant leave the barrel fast enough it will find the weakest part of your gun and destroy it. This hi point is blowback the bolt slide and cartridge are held in place by spring tension so they moves back and out giving the explosion somewhere to go.

It is worth noting that the higher you go in caliber and pressures its much more easy for gun barrels to fail catastrophically or just get ruined overall. The fact is that with .22 and 9mm rounds the pressures are so low you can get away with a lot before it blows up. That said cheap guns like the Highpoints shown in the video suck because the other components are not as good. Things like the action aren't particularly smooth and are more prone to jamming and wear than better more expensive guns.
@revolution2405

I own Walter's. I own them mainly for their comfort in "MY" hands. Plus they are extremely accurate and very reliable. That being said, I do have a 9mm Hi-Point. It's not comfortable for me but I have never had a malfunction with it. And I've probably shot 3 or 400 rounds through it. Alot of people remember the old Hi-Points or just jump on the bandwagon. The old ones were garbage. People think that because its cheap it must be trash. In most cases you do get what you pay for, but that's why not the case with the new ones. Again, this is just my experience with them. Someone else may have had different experiences.

Yeah, I'd buy guns based off this extreme form of torture testing. I want to know this sort of thing. Like, now I know a Hi-Point might still be relatively safely operated if the guy trying to kill me stabs at me with sharpened rebar and I block with the gun only to have the rebar get stuck in the barrel.

The .45 ACP / JHP is heavy as hell, but has almost zero rise when fired. It's actually one of my most accurate sidearms and I carry it when hunting mostly. Hi-Point gets a bad rap for being affordable, however, they're one of the only companies to guarantee their products for life.
