@MACReact , I don't know if u guys noticed but the guy who betrayed Gyomei and the other kids at the orphanage was the senior desciple of Zenitsu. His face is shown in Zenitsu's dream when he was almost dying in season 1 i believe

When Sayo said that "it was him" she was referring to Demon actually because she was scared and there were no evidence backing anything up they automatically assumed it was Gyomei who killed everyone. Also, Zenitsu will not be comedic relief for the rest of this arc. This is arc was a "getting to know everyone" arc so that when shit hits the fan you're emotionally invested.

I'm suprised you didn't recognise the boy who led the demon to the Hashira and those children, it was the same boy throwing peaches at Zenitsu in season 1 of Demon Slayer.
