Just a note to Danny on Endeavour choosing to have the family move to a new house while he stays in their original one: I think if you give it a little more thought, you can easily understand the symbolic message and realist purpose behind that decision. It's pretty clear that he wants to give his family a new start away from the house of abuse he created and away from himself because even the sight of him brings back their trauma, while not running away from that past himself so his atonement can be total. Places and people can stop abusing or being the site of abuse and still be very traumatic for the abused, and Endeavour is trying to take responsibility for and mitigate all of that. I could see an argument that he should have asked his family about whether they wanted to go through with that, but I can also see the value in him not giving them the chance to pity him or give him even the opportunity to step back into the family's daily life. Like you learned, atonement, not redemption. On a personal note, I believe everybody has the right to live their lives and the requirement to reform after their wrongdoings, no matter how egregious. I think atonement should always be the first step in that reformation since the ones who are wronged should always be prioritized first, so I think Endeavour's arc has been well written and, to an extent, just.

I honestly thought it made perfect sense why Endeavor moved them into a new house. He's also tried to reconnect with his family however he can while also respecting their boundaries. I don't even care for Endeavor, but what else those Danny want him to do?

@@wajmgirloh yeah, let’s just throw the current number one hero in jail with all the supervillains he’s locked up, that sounds perfect, oh and let’s not worry about all the supervillains who are still roaming free and are basically only kept in check because of him. If you’re making an argument for some form of legal punishment after the series is over and most of the most pressing crises are hopefully resolved, than yeah I’d agree, but he’s still one of the strongest heroes in the series, they kinda need him.

The thing with slime, is rimiru is a demon lord and the ruler of one of the most feared nations in the world. he CANNOT just show up in different lands. Ruling is politics, rulers showing up unannounced to non-aligned nations is an easy way to go from neutral to unfriendly or unfriendly back to all out war. He also can’t have random servants going around because that could be considered aggression. He also cannot be messing around in random demon lord territories because it will make the lords look weaker. It’s a constant balancing act that’s what makes political theater fun to watch Nick just prefers soldier stories. Which is fine soldier stories are GREAT AOT, FMA, Berserk, Naruto, JJK, etc. are all on the ground with grunts, the grunts just sometimes happen to be the MC. But they tend to avoid politics or the politics are the part he dislikes the most because he doesn’t like shows about Leaders. Also “One Piece has no exposition” is a hilarious statement.

He moved them out the house so they can start a new life away from anything that would remind them of his abuse which includes their old house. Also, he did more than just buy a new house. He tried reconnecting with them and is trying to be an overall better man. Like what else do you want him to do? He can't change the past

The reason why Slime's worldbuilding is all non-visual is purely because it's off a light novel. The author has a hard-on for meetings lol Also, I feel like you would love Slime so much more if you read the manga, purely because of how much better paced it is (and the art is great)

Nick, literally, 5 of my top 10 favorite anime are HxH, Slime Iskeai, One Piece, Overlord, and JJK specifically because of how great those series are at WORLDBUILDING!!!!!! I absolutely love being able to know so much about a world that I can predict, theorycraft or contemplate how certain aspects of a world interact with each other or even having enough info to feel like i could be in that world. I think having scenes that just the characters talking to each are both equally as valid and entertaining opposed to Arthur creating some stupid nonconsequncial activity or side quest for them to do while they are talking. Also One Piece, HxH and JJK all have huge "stand around and yap exposition dump moments" !!!! Examples: One piece - Anytime we see the Gorosei/5 elder stars, most one piece arc wrap ups, when they find jinbei at Fishman island, most of arlong park is just them sitting and talking until the climax. HxH - There is so much yapping in HxH. Wing teaching gon and killua Nen, any time the get a new card in Greed Island, the nonsense about countries the chimeras took over, THE WHOLE ELECTION ARC WHICH CONTAINS ONE THE BEST YAPPING CHARACTERS EVER, PRESTON HILL!!! JJK - literally any of the recent sukuna fight flashbacks.

One piece does not have that great worldbuilding, infact it has a lot of plot holes. Not to trash on One piece but there are no explanation why barely anyone uses submarines (other than law's crew, etc) which is the optimal way to get around. Its also has a lame excuse for not having airplanes with log poses on given how there are rockets, cyborgs/robots, guns, coca cola as fuel in the show (seperate dr.vegapunk from this). The show even contradicts itself with characters that actually do fly in this setting so uncontrolled weather is not really an excuse. Also why aren't one piece taking more advantage of the devil fruits themselves? Like if you compare it to the manga Firepunch you have people being used as fuel due to their ability, there is probably only one instance in one piece this is done and that is Enel using his electrical energy as the main power supply for Maxim. Now imagine if every devil fruit took advantage of their fruit to create resources.. this is one of the reason why one piece is not a setting you can take too serious and things are just "coincidences". On the esthetic part One piece is not that creative and take a lot of inspiration from other worldbuilding of other fictional settings and historical places/times (viking villages, wild west, arabian desert, Ariel's world of atlantica, etc).

Bruh, literally the entire foundation of all the storytelling of the show and everything that happens is centered around them just being visual effects. Ufotable just poorly portrayed the techniques in their added scene because unfortunately they don't really care if the plot makes sense. Also, wind breathing cannot produce anything. It is simply swordplay. All slayer attacks are swordplay. Also y'all saying 'carried by animation' is just super silly and I have to say y'all really misinterpreted some scenes too.

Here is the Challenge : You need a crew of 10 characters from different universes to sail from the beginning of the Red Line to Laugh Tale in the One Piece world. Each character must fill a specific role like captain, first mate, sniper, navigator, cook, doctor, scholar, shipwright, musician, and helmsman, and only one character per universe is allowed. The crew must stay together throughout the journey, and the ship cannot be moved or sped up while sailing. The crew needs to face various challenges like attacks from pirates and sea monsters, Marines, extreme weather, and resource management issues. So, you need to pick characters who can work well together, endure the challenges, and fit their assigned roles effectively. Can't wait to see what your Crew and Danny's Crew will be. 57:10 I know a JJK fan did not just complain about mha fights being impossible to read. I have an example if you need it, try sukuna vs literally anyone he has fought since gojo. At least mha fights are understandable in terms of how the fighters are doing certain things unlike Mr Ryomen Binding Vow Sukuna. On top of that, Gege has about as consistent a schedule as Horikoshi has and isn't eating the Whitebeard level debuffs that Horikoshi has been experiencing for so long.

No manga knowledge, only speaking from anime experience but I don't understand half the hype/decisions with my hero sometimes. I enjoy it and will finish it, but without getting spoiled I only ever saw the biggest hype for some characters like stars and (purple hair sniper chick, forget her name). I saw hype and people be all, "oh can't wait for these people" only for them to be done with in 2-3 episodes. Like what was the point.(if anyone chimes in on this comment, just please avoid manga spoilers please)
