Honestly I hard disagree on the takes on Giyuu and Shinobu's desings. Like I get what they are saying, a character with super crazy or colorfull hair or just some very distinct feature would be more memorable, but both of them are very objectively good and memorable desings. Mitsuri's hair might be really noticable but Shinobu just dresses way more uniquely than her. Not trying to downplay Mitsuri's but Shinobu and Giyuu and just as memorable to me as any other hashira.

16:52 i've seen a lot of people kinda disappointed with their first rennaisance faire experience, and I must say not all ren faires are the same! The one I used to go to is great. It's huge and covers a partially-forested area. Most of the medieval town is made up of permanent buildings that stay there year-round, and people sneak in sometimes, and my family's been going there since the 80s (a family friend of ours used to work as a barmaid there, and she'd kiss anyone who bought a mug of beer lol. called it "kiss the wench" or something). There's still the traditional wizards, fairies and kid's activities, but there actually _are_ also some 18+ areas after 10pm and there's a lot more Dark Ages-type decorations. I haven't been there in a few years since I moved away, but I'd definitely go back there someday

You two are tweaking on character designs. Kny basically has as close to objectively good character designs as you can get. The amount of depth and thought behind every design. Tons of meaning packed into every one, lots of principles of color theory and shape language and the contrast between characters. Fits each character perfectly.

I've never rooted for Nick more, both due to knowing he'd win this game and the consequences. Take care of yourself while you watch it, Danny! (I wasn't sure about it when it released and I first started watching it too but it's actually pretty good, enjoy). Also, Nick being wrong with the time had me. The fairy tail take is wild not gonna lie Erza is way better than Makima. She's cute she's strong she's funny she so easy to embarrass and get her blushing and she has a dom side but unlike Makima she ain't you know toxic as hell plus she's got the better body. Also Erza is the girl you bring to parents and your parents pull you aside and basically demand you put a ring on it while Makima is the girl your too ashamed even talk about let alone show too your parents. I also feel Danny would love Lucy as a character since she gets such AMAZING character development... And no I don't just mean the increase in her bust and ass. Also Danny should watch Danmachi it's got 4 seasons now and the 4th is a Masterpiece

Also wanted to add I feel if Nick picked fairy tail up again he’d enjoy it same with Danny. It’s a good Shōnen that makes you feel like you’re part of the Fairy Tail guild and care about all the characters. It’s a master of hype and anticipation. Final villain is great character. Female cast is genuinely one of the best in Shonen as they all get their own arcs and times to shine as well development. It’s tropy but wears it on its sleeve and owns it making it feel fresh and fun. Though I will say the manga is better due to censoring of darker and more brutal moments in the first half of the anime. And certain things aren’t as clear in the anime compared to the manga Either way it’s genuinely good and people still love it despite its own flaws. Series is very over hated and deserves more love and recognition
