i want the rengoku gaiden to be adapted into the anime but not the giyuu gaiden cause that'd be so fucking funny (i don't like the giyuu gaiden). and yeah def around 6 episodes is my prediction. anything more than like 7 i'll just be confused. and honestly they don't even release the episode number at all, we just get leaks before like the final 2 episodes lmao. WHY are they so secretive??? (i don't remember for the entertainment district arc, but for ssv we only knew there were 11 episodes after like the 8th or 9th episode, didn't we?) them falling through the castle would be the perfect cliffhanger. ending with anything before that i'll be SO disappointed.

You're right that they don't release the episode count, what they do release is when the blu-ray releases and it always ends the week before that. I'm torn on wanting 6 episodes or not. I do agree it feels like around the right amount of episodes, but I also am the type of person who will love whatever they give me and want it on my screen as long as possible! I do think that is the BEST place to end the season. Time will tell!

Honestly this may be just my opinion but the Rengoku gaiden is AMAZING. The "antagonist" is interesting and it gives insight on Rengoku and Mitsuri's training, aswell as their origin. I love it, could you give us feedback or your personal opinion on it after you read it? I look forward to it! Other than that, great video (as always) and I think that Ufotable may tease us a bit with the first fight in the Infinity castle arc instead of just stopping at a very particular encounter because the cliffhanger would be too much to handle lmao.

Warning for the long rambling post :P Personally, I am not in support about adapting the light novels or side-story volumes into the anime. Not written by Koyoharu = Not Canon. I really don't like the inclusion of anything that wasn't written directly by the author, especially since most of the time it ends up being reductive to the quality of the story, rather than additive. For instance, the first half of HTA E1 that we saw in theaters - that entire Sanemi + Obanai scene. I could give like 3 in-depth reasons why it wasn't a good addition, but I don't want to bore you with a rant, I'll just say the biggest glaring issue is that two Hashira somehow managed to accidentally fall into the Infinity Castle, and they were just... teleported out? No trapping them in there? Instantly teleporting the UM there to dispose of them? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Now, I'm an anime-only, so if there's nuance to it in the coming chapters of the manga where it could potentially make sense, then fine (I don't need an explanation though as I've said I'm anime-only). But as an anime-only viewer, from everything we know so far about the characters, plot, etc. I hate using this term, but it really does create plot holes in the narrative. And now, when Sanemi + Obanai eventually do enter the Infinity Castle, they HAVE to make some dialogue about having seen the place before (which I'm sure they don't in the manga since this scene never actually happened), or else their surprise/confusion about it will create yet another plot hole. They also didn't bother saying ANYTHING to the other Hashira about it when they arrived late to the meeting.😭 My Prediction: 6 Episodes. It will end the same week of June that the SSV Arc ended. Which is most likely why they have the premiere airing that late into the season. It also makes the most amount of sense considering the length of the arc. After the finale, I think they'll announce the movie trilogy. (Hoping it IS a movie trilogy and not just a season - but I know other people don't like the idea of movies). Now I might be reaching here, but Ufotable has consistently put out an entire single-cour season of anime per year. Given that the HTA Arc should be half a season (6 episodes) and the Infinity Castle Arc can be evenly divided into 3 Mugen Train-length movies (2 hours = 6 episodes), I don't think it's impossible to believe that the first movie could literally be released THIS year, end of 2024! But realistically 2025. Anyway, I really like this type of video. Subscribed, and I hope you make more of these!

All good points! Thank you for being respectful about it lol that’s sadly hard to come by these days 😅 Well, if you’re an anime only, remember that things feel like plot holes now, there’s still story to come. I’ll just say that but not spoil you! I understand the reasoning behind your prediction of 6 episodes! Time will tell. I would cry if we got more in 2024, but definitely thinking if we get a trilogy it will be 2025, 2026, and 2027. I think the main reason I’m slightly hoping we get a season, is having to wait until 2028 for the end does NOT sound like a fun time but we’ll see 😂 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
