THIS is a major issue in law! Self defense should not STOP when the car moves! Bullets still can fly from that moving car. So is a person pose to stop shooting to SEE if the other person or persons is going to fire? NO! Once a gun is shown from the other people!?THAT to me is all legal ground to self defense! Especially when u came TO MY HOME to cause problems! If he gets convicted we as a nation need to stand up! Anybody can be put in the same situation!!! I don’t BLAME him for firing! His mother is BEHIND him in the home. If any of them boys in the car would have fired BACK his mother could be dead let alone him and his brother. Bullets don’t have names on them! They go where pointed! End of story! Nobody is gona WAIT and SEE if a person is going to FIRE BACK first! Get REAL! Like hey ima stop and see if YOU are truly gona shoot me! Y’all, the attorney questioning him is Travis’s attorney. Yes, his attorney is asking him “ridiculous” questions like: (1) “you’re a football player, can’t you beat 3-4 guys?” and (2) “why did you shoot them?” However, these questions are meant to debunk the Prosecutor’s story and line of questioning. The questions sound ridiculous because that is exactly what the attorney is trying to do: Make the Prosecutor’s claims sound ridiculous. In my opinion, Travis’s attorney did a great job in his line of questioning by setting the scene and detailing everything step-by-step. Some of his questions were considered “leading” (questions that lead a witness to a specific answer) that’s why you hear the Judge say “sustained.” This means the Prosecutor objected to the leading question and the Judge agreed (sustained) that the question was leading. Thus, Travis’s attorney had to rephrase the question to not be leading. Even when having to rephrase his questions, Travis’s attorney did a great job of ensuring the question was still asked. 👏🏽

I believe him. He had every opportunity to fire that weapon way before they got in the vehicle especially considering it seems like he got beat up by the dude. It would make sense that he would shoot when they were pulling off if he saw a fire arm out of the window. I don’t think he intended on harming anyone but I’m sad it came to this. Sad situation.

Why didn't Dominique get charged? After all she is the one who set the entire incident in motion. Why did she get off so easily? Help me understand that.

I get that the lawyer needs him to establish what happens. But did he really need the defendant to establish that he’s “a little bit younger than his mom” 🙄 also do we really think that the jury doesn’t know that bro means brother?!

This is nuts that this man was even on trial in the first place. It's seems likely that after this the other surviving criminals in the car would be charged with some degree of murder or manslaughter. Someone correct me if I am wrong?
