where would one find the mini spark plugs? I cant imagine what it takes to engineer the ignition system for this. Wow so cool!!!

Need some rubber on the engine mounts to get rid of all that rattling. All you could hear is some engine noise and the wood box rattling on the table. But very cool I need one. How much?💪🇺🇲👍

Why is there no motor smoke?

It’s using a fine concentration of gasoline, so that it can run properly.

Can this be made at home by someone who has never worked on engines before?
@pauls57456 жыл бұрын
a hobbyist/builder could do it, just it would take a long time, maybe 2 years I'm guessing. besides having a lathe, mill and calipers, micrometer and such + good machinist skills to grind the cam, bore the cylinders, rods, crank, etc. I think cost of materials would be about $400-500. it didn't rev well, so I'm thinking either the cam specs are off, or maybe it's just tuning. If one could machine a miniature cam, that's the heart of it. detailed cam specs for any musclecar are available free from the manufacturers (Crane, Edlebrock, etc.) or on automotive forums, so one could scale them down accurately and CNC one

Could you make one of these (a little bigger) for a mini drift car?
@krakenroadkill29888 жыл бұрын
Yes (Sorry for the late af comment) But people do it here and there, they just have to be specially made to do so.

Though for $50 or 75, a set of plans is a good start rather than spend couple years of trial and error to just make a functional engine, from the sound of it, and hearing Conley engines and others running, there's probably a lot to be improved upon with this design.

More power than a honda

Oh my god yes! Finally somebody agrees that Honda's are just economic point A to point B car. When will people learn. Honda's are slow. A turboed weed wacker engine would be faster
@pauls57456 жыл бұрын
besides a Honda being the most reliable thing on the planet, you obviously haven't been in a turbo'd Supra, sporting 400+hp and probably refer to your gf's Civic or Fit lol

why cant these guys just buy an eletric starter? its not even hard, just get an electric motor with a push start relay switch or even a real car ignition.
