He might interpret some things wrongly and react to it as such sometimes, but it's no malice in these conversations. It's a merging of 2 totally different generations, it's what's needed. I say they've developed an uncle and nephew relationship, like a younger guy on the corner chopping it up wit the older guy on the corner, because Demond is starting to warm up to him as well as he's starting to be comfortable expressing himself with Demond. I've been that younger guy; I've been that older guy, even in my early twenties...I understand things like finding humor in "thick" because of their pauses today.
