I mean, technically, it's a BBC.... with Hemi heads, people for some reason think the Pro Line "Hemi's" are a Mopar design, they're not, it's a custom block, but it's BBC based, like Steve Morris' SMX is completely custom, but it's loosely based on a BBC.... similar here....but with hemispherical heads.

The proline AJPE bottom end still uses factory 60's Chrysler Rod journal size which means the bearings will literally Swap out of Cleets engine into a old 426 Hemi. The material used is different for a street car. BBC also never had a deep skirt block or the exact same front distributor(blocked off for EFI) and external oil pump location like the old Hemi. BBC has a rear distributor and internal oil pump. Literally nothing about the engine is like a BBC. Except that they are both V8's. That must be what you actually meant to say. Maybe the bell housing pattern is for a Turbo 400 that I'm not positive about.

Eagle is a steel roof and quarters tube chassis and usually runs 315's but he does run it on 275's. There is a build series available for the car. He does use the billet spec wheels on most of his cars. That trans can was added later because it was puking all over the ground. I love that and have seen every video about it since they started it.

Yes it's a Hemi but there ain't nothing Chrysler about that Hemi!! Also in the last video you had mentioned that the 69 Camaro was a popular car to run @ this level, Well after Stevie "Fast" Jackson had took flight in the original Shadow(the Mustang) he went with a 69 Camaro body and he explained that they are like the perfect body design for these types of car's. That's something Cleetus needs to be aware of now, he's got that "take flight" power now! Dwayne Mills took flight in his Camaro.

Finally, someone else that knows it's actually BBC based with hemispherical heads.... people hear "hemi" and swear he's running a Mopar block and I keep having to inform and correct them that, no... it's still technically a big block Chevy, based off, then with custom hemispherical heads.... also, if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure people have been making hemi and DOHC heads for BBC's since the 60s, they were just expensive hence why they never became mainstream.... except for drag.

Yeah 275 isn't his norm he typically runs a 315. The only thing keeping it from being a "Pro Mod" really is the fact that it has a steel roof, quarter panels and tail panel. Pretty sure he said in the beginning his main focus is 1/8th mile but will do 1/4 at big races such as world cup where he raced Outlaw vs Extreme. Funny thing is that car hasn't been pushed to its full potential yet.. YET...lol
