From past sometime, I have been planning to move to auroville, seeing it as an ideal society. Then came to see auroville files, now I'm doubting decision. Is it all again the dirty politics? Working towards making it better will raise enemies? So much of confusion 😨

I don't think you actually demystified anything. I know that some of what you say is based on truth, but you do not state your source of your information to back your claims. How do you know? I lived in Auroville for 16 years. There is a lot of corruption, and it would be great if that could be routed out and dealt with. Most people in Auroville came there for the dream and the hope of building the city of the future. It's very sad that there is no recourse when bad things happen and there is no protection. You flashed a photo of Fredrick sitting on the bucket of a bulldozer. That was Aurovillians protesting the raising of trees that were planted with so much blood sweat and tears. Whatever group that is demanding that the Master Plan be followed to the T, should not be allowed to have this power. Does it really matter if the ring road is not an actually circle? Why can't it go around trees that were planted 50 years ago. It always seemed crazy to me. Friends have recently been terrorized in Evergreen community and trees cut there. I'm not sure of the details, but I know there wasn't help or protection for the people living there. There are many problems to be solved. From the outside, it looks like the Indian government would like to take over Auroville. The Mother always wanted Auroville to be autonomous, but that was given up when Auroville asked the Indian government to intercede with the Sri Aurobindo Society in the 1970s. By the way, the working groups are selected by the Residents Assembly. If people don't choose to participate, that's the same as in any country; whether or not people come out to vote or however people are chosen to be on the working groups of Auroville. This often changes in order to experiment with different ways of doing this. I really don't think there is corruption in the choosing. Auroville needs lots of changes and accountability, but I'd like you to factually back up your claims.

here we are?!?! the world is flooded with war, hatred and corruption. We are on the brink of 3rd world war with nuclear weapons! Auroville is also in conflict and strife, and I am not sure how the author of the video is hoping that government will bring about order to Auroville, since the government officials were in fact the main culprits of land buying corruption in Auroville. Giving more power to corrupt government officials is hardly the way to break the "criminal nexus" (if there was any)
