See the New Gospel of Mahavatar Babaji in his own words. Very interesting. As well as the book, the Holy Science by Sri Yukteswar Giri. There are certain simple tools to realization, my Dear friends. Wishing all so well! I am an Auro-Villian also I never have lived there physically. In Realizing this, we all are able to contribute worldwide to this same transformation, by clear consciousness!

Mindfulness can be practiced without a mandir or a temple or a church. At the same time man is a creature of habit, he is ritualistic, he gives meaning to objects, he is prone to deify everything and even himself. It is all in the mind. As a social being, he lives among other human beings, he has material needs but he does not live on bread alone, he has aspirations, he has a soul, nothing but the Divine can satisfy him completely. The way is unique, each one must journey alone, at times with another, but no other human being can fulfil his thirst for the Infinite.

It's a pity it didn't think past itself. I agree it should remain a minorpolis but it should have a structure in place in taking some of the people from that center to spawn another center. And this can be done by putting in its charter at the beginning what size they want to limit the city to. A structure of succession has not been thought of by the looks of it. Maybe they should start!

@deniseward0024 жыл бұрын
@@AltairdeAlmeida1111 Oh good to know. The problem with Auroville as with every other "alternative" is that they still use money. This makes absolutely no sense at all and I'd love to know how they justify it. Having an alternative lifestyle in all ways except what matters. It's almost funny. It's kind of looking after oneself because it does not change much in the world. If the people running it die or give up for whatever reason, that's the end of that. Because the system is the endemic problem. But seems not even "enlightened" people are able to see this. The way to succeed is to barter in another currency (not crypto) for anything that can be exchanged that way. There are many, many opportunities. They may not be able to pay their empire bills but all sorts of skills can be at least partially paid for in another currency. But they still don't think outside of that box.

Religion is organised spirituality, and when you create institutions and hierarchies for something, immediately comes baggage. Spirituality should be universal, like how science should be universal.

Buddha, one of the wisest of the sons of Asia. His real name was Gautama, but he was called Buddha because Buddha means the Awakened One. The man who wakes up now, in what sense was he awake ? He was awake in the sense that he was completely all here. After all we say about a person who is nuts, he's not all here. He's not all there ,but our whole culture, our all civilization, insofar as it is involved with time and living only for a future ,is nuts. It's not all here. We are not awake. We are not completely alive now. And consequently, we are so hungry and so greedy because everything seems tasteless. We are living for an abstraction which has not yet come to be, and we don't know what it really is. We are living in a materialist dimension based on money, greed and power instead co-operation, unity and equality a dimension that will connect us with the universe, nature and spirit, with THE ALL, instead a dimension that connects capitalism into machines that shield our connections to THE ALL. Free your mind from the pipe dreams of modern society, don't chase prosperity and wealthiness to climb at the top of the pyramid find the humble point and stay there, and if you don't, use it to contribute and not to fulfill your materialism dreams. We can't change the world with a jungle of different thoughts dispersed in a digital network, but we can with unified waves of thoughts that will wash out the current ones. Co-operation, unity and equality will be key to awaken us, our ancestors were doing it already a long long time ago, they left us clues but we are not awake enough to understand it.

Auroville, for all its lofty and wonderful ideals, will be reduced to a historical blip as a result of climate change. One of Auroville's Achilles' heels is that it spends too much time dreaming, and not enough time looking at and studying reality around it. The unyielding reality around Auroville is going to be its downfall within the next decade or two. Climate change will make large parts of India uninhabitable.. and any areas trying to be havens of peace and self-sustainability, like Auroville, will not survive the destructive pressures coming from their surroundings desperate to cling on to life.
