Hi I just watched your video I have same plow and the deep snow angle the blade all the way to the right will work way better moving the snow

Full angle will really help. In fact cutting the metal to get more angle is worth it. Get the blade back to a inch from the tire
@mrsnuffleuppagus242 жыл бұрын
Just need to take your time and move a little at a time. Even push towards the sides for your initial path that way you keep your tires on the pavement. Then take smaller jabs at it. You can also raise your plow when entering the pile. Itll stack nicer that way.

Been here before, all I can say is don’t let the snow accumulate to this height. You might have to plow twice but you can get it done.😁🇨🇦

Yeah worked great other than this first storm that I tried. Like I said looked before bed and it was a dusting. Woke up 8 hours later to this.

Tighten your springs, they are really loose. Should help your plow function better :)

I have a 900 rzr trail with a SubZero 66" plow. I put a 6in rubber snow guard across the whole top of the blade. About 8-10" of snow with the snowblade angled to right or left works the best.

Did the same the rubber cutting edge helps with downforce

That’s light fluffy snow-good luck with heavy wet snow!

If I had your rzr I think I would purchase a snowblower attachment for it. I've seen some on KZbin. One guy had one for his Sportsman 570 and one guy had one on his Ranger 800. Really cool video

I get too excited to plow! Never let it get over 8 inches. Enjoyed your video
@ThePaperBoy18710 ай бұрын
Like others have said those springs need tightened and your plow should be fully angled trying to move that amount of snow. And you would have had 0 issues. Always push snow further then you need so you don't start boxing yourself in.

Good honest review. Yeah those UTV’s are ok for the smaller snow, but you were just asking to much of it with that type of snow. Unless you went out every few hours to stay up with it. Good job.

I looked out at around 11PM it started snowing at 8 and we had maybe 2 inchs.. said I'll be fine in the morning. Woke up to 26 inches lol.......I'm going to do another follow up vid when we get another snow with hopefully more like 6-10 inches. I'm pretty sure it will plow with no issues. Thanks for your support and for watching the video.

Outdoorz with CraigDz yes, I think that’s what those side x sides are good for, smaller storms. Nice looking machine though. Good luck.

Look into snow blower attachment. Make quick work of all that snow

A snow deflector on that plow would help the snow from coming over the top

Tighten your springs there too loose

Or just buy a boss v blade for that thing have one on a work sxs and it moves mountains

You shouldn’t be pushing that amount of snow with a straight blade angle let or right that was your problem
@outdoorzwithcraigdz3 жыл бұрын
it was angled its just too much snow in general 2 plus feet for a light machine.

I appreciate the footage of big snow and understanding the difficulties of plowing with a side by side, but I don't want to stare at your plow with loose trip springs.

I posted an updated video from the last snow fall with full drone footage as well. I agree the camera could have been angled up a bit more to catch less of the plow. I adjusted it in the follow up video and also got some other angles. Unfortunately we got so much snow that I never really caught any other footage of me plowing and switched to my tractor. Thank you for posting I'm always open to ideas and improving quality for viewers.

@@outdoorzwithcraigdz Thanks for replying. I appreciate all the work that goes into putting out a video. I don't have the patience to pull it all together. I'm looking for a side by side and Plow set up for our place. I have a1991 Mule I brought back from the scrap yard grave with a beautify heavily modified cycle country plow. It'll keep me going for a while.

@@danwood4478 If your not looking for a sport model I really would look at something like the Polaris ranger or kawaskki terx. I have a seen a few out trail riding but the utility function of them is awesome. Mine does what I need it to do but looking back the dump bed would have been nice.

Waited to long to plow...also should have pre-salted the driveway...

I guess you must set your alarm for 2-3am cause I don't. Checked at 11PM when I went to bed was just a dusting.
