Hi Pam, It's so good hearing from you! I am so behind in getting product made for my summer shop-ugh. Every summer I say this is my last summer but here we are again! I love it and know I will miss it but it getting harder and harder getting product made. My daughter-in-law is going to help by adding some of here skin care products. I'm trying not to stress too much LOL. We are getting snow today (wish I was kidding:) Have a great day, Julia
@pamketron3 жыл бұрын
@@stitchesbyjulia I know what you mean when you say harder and harder. It’s crazy that you are still getting snow. Just don’t stress and whatever you get made will be enough. That way you can see what sells best this year. I’m sure every year is different. Hope you get some warmer weather soon. Take care and enjoy what you do get made. Hugs.

🤔 yes, but I don’t think it would have the shank?!? I was thinking a button?! ❤️😀
@beauteoussounds11563 жыл бұрын
@@rachelburgener819 It’s more of a cut-out than a shank. We used to have a few in our kitchen junk drawer growing up and I think Mom told me they were used in curtain making. Looks so good on the cuff she made - love this upcycle project! :)

When I read cuffs I thought it meant adding to the bottom of pants to make them longer. This would work for that too. I might just give it a try because my pants are always too short.

Hi Phyllis, I think you just sent me a comment about using labels. I can't find your comment again but I've used the labels in a couple of videos. I adhere the labels to the back of the fabric before I run it though my printer. It keeps the fabric from flopping around and goes through the printer easier. Here's one of the videos-kzbin.info/www/bejne/mam2qY2fma1nfdk. Hope this helps! Julia

Hay Julia does your free motion sewing machine go threw the denim I don’t have decorative stich es? Love them
@stitchesbyjulia2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes my machine goes through a couple of layers of denim while free-motion stitching. I will break a needle if I go through too many layers. My machine came with a "darning" foot and two quilter's feet. Here is an Amazon link so you can see the difference: amzn.to/3DlX3Sz The darning foot is the plastic one and I use it when I'm sewing varying layers. It seems to hop and adjust to different layers more than the quilters foot. I use the quilters foot when I'm sewing a quilt block that is flat. Hope this helps, Julia
